Bella's POV
Scott...told me he loved me.
"I love you, too, Scott." I said and smiled.
Our hug was interrupted by the sound of a phone ringing.
"Bell, it's Mitch." He said nervously.
"Well, answer it." I told him, "It's not like I'll be pissed if you talk to him."
He looked at me and then answered the phone.
Scott's POV
"Hello?"
"Hey, Scott."
"Hey, Mitchie. What's going on?" I was honestly really worried.
"I miss her,"
I looked over at Bella, who was leaning her head against my shoulder, her face covered by her hands.
"I know, Mitch."
"I want to talk to her again, but she won't listen. I just want to hear her voice. I want to sit down with her and actually have her listen to me, not just read something over text and not respond."
"I'm sure that you'll talk to her again, just give her time. Her mental state needs to get better, and maybe then she'll want to open up to you, too." I said. I heard him sniffle through the phone.
"I'll be home soon, okay? I'll bring coffee."
"Okay.."
"Bye Mitchie."
"Bye."
The call ended and I looked over to the gorgeous girl beside me. I kissed her forehead and got up.
"Scotty," she mumbled, "don't leave."
"I have to go check on Mitch, hun." I replied.
"I need to you tell him that I miss him, too. I'm just not ready to face him yet, okay?" She said and my heart jumped. It made me happy that she was trying to start over with him, and I understand why she wouldn't want to see him now.
"I will." I smiled, "Bye, Belle."
"Bye, Scooter."
