It was all too much for Kylie to take as she sat on a hotel bed stairing at her kids who were quietly watching Tv. David was on the phone to Sarah and all she could think of was what they were going to do. On the run with two kids and blood clear on there hands, they were bound to get caught.

David slowly put his phone back in his pocket, letting out a heavy sigh. "So, once we get a flight to barbados. Everything will be fine"

Kylie shook her head, letting out a heavy sigh. "I can't David. The kids dont deserve this"

"Ky, don't give up on me" David said taking a seat beside her. Kylie looked at him and shook her head. "All my life i have been running David, im sick of it"

"No, this is the time you should be running"

"What about the kids. Lily is only little. She doesn't deserve this" Kylie put her head in her hands. "It's over David, i'm caught. Game-over"

"It's not over till i say its over" snapped David as Kylie finally looked back at him. He looked over at the kids. "We can't stay in here for much longer. The police will find us if we stay here"

"What do you suggest David. Bussing it across town with two kids in tow and our faces plastered all across the news"

"KYLIE! I'm trying to think." David snapped as Max and Lily turned towards them.

"Look. We drive to the airport. Get a plane ticket to barbados and live with Becky"

"Oh yeah, what a great plan David" she said sarcastically. "With what money and what car"

David pulled out his bank card for there joint account. "This has more than enough in it"

"What about a car?"

"Just sort the kids out and ill sort out a car for us" David snapped as he left the hotel room, leaving Kylie with the kids.

The sounds of sirens and flashing blue lights filled the street. Alerting the street to another Platt drama.

Sarah was sat with her knees to her chest in her flat. Tears rolling down her cheeks as she listenend to the sound of sirens. Her heartbeat drumming fast against her chest.

Gail and Jason were sat on the couch. Trying hard not to throw up at the smell as the police officers investigated Gails annex.

"It all makes sence now" Gail whispered as Jason rested a hand on her shoulder for comfort. "They should be home now"

"Unless they saw the police and bottled it"

"Oh great, so they're on the run" Gail sighed. She couldn't stand being in that house any longer as the door burst open and Audrey appeared. "Gail whats going on"

"Oh mam" sobbed Gail as Audrey looked confused, going round to give Gail a hugs. "Whats happened"

"We found a body" said Jason taking a deep breath. "We thinks it's Callum"

Audreys eyes widend as she put two and two together. "No, it can't be"

A police officer walked out of Gails annex and went straight towards them. "This is a murder investigation, so we will like it if you came with us to the station"

Gail and Jason looked at him before looking at eachother.

"Where are we going" Max asked as Kylie put Lilys coat on. Lily too interested in the tv show to wriggle away from her mother.

"Away for a bit"

"Where?"

"I don't know" Kylie sighed as she began putting Lilys shoes on.

"But we just got here"

"MAX, BE QUIET!" Kylie yelled startiling Lily and shocking Max. Lily suddenly began to cry, making Kylie feel awful as she pulled Lily intk her arms. "I'm sorry for shouting" Kylie put out her hand for Max who gladly accepted and was pulled into his mothers embrace.

"Listen to me. Whatever happens, you know David is your dad now. Don't you?"

Max nodded just as the door opened and in walked David with a set of car keys in his hand.

"What have you done" Kylie asked getting to her feet.

"Is the kids ready" David asked. Kylie nodded and hoisted Lily into her arms as David grabbed there suitcases that hadn't been unpacked.

Walking out of the hotel, david went straight towards a red corsa. Opening the boot and putting there things in the boot.

"Where did you get this"

"I borrowed it"

"You mean you nicked it" Kylie said as Max got into the back of the car.

"No. Im going to bring it back. Besides, what idiot leaves the keys in the car" David said as he got into the drivers seat. Kylie let out a soft sigh before getting in the passangers seat with Lily on her lap.

David took off and Kylie couldn't help but worry for her kids. If she came clean and said it was all her, that David wasn't involved. Then nothing would happen to him and the kids would have at least one parent.

The street was currently in turmoil. Green tape was around number 8 to keep people from coming in. Police currently going in and out of the house. No one knew what was going on apart from Jason, Gail and Audrey who were currently on there way to the police station.

It wasn't until a body came out in a body bag that everyone had a clue what was going on. "Maybe its David in the body bag" suggested Eileen as Micheal scowled at her for making a joke out of such a thing.

"Too tall to be David" Todd said as he glanced at Eileen. "Are you going to the police station to wait on Jason"

"Yeah" Eileen sighed. "No wonder, he looked like he had seen a ghost when he left the house"

"So whos the murderer" Tracy asked coming to stand by Todd who rolled his eyes. "My moneys on Gail. I bet her whole shocked face was an act"

"Really? No way, my moneys on David" Tracy said with a glint in her eye like she had just solved the case.

"Do you know where your son and daughter in law are Mrs Rodwell"

Gail shook her head, tears in her eyes.

"I know this is hard but if you think of anything. Please tell us"

"The body" Gail sighed closing her eyes "Me and Jason think its Callum Logan"

The police officer tilted his head to the side. "What makes you think that"

"From what he was wearing" Gail sighed putting her head in her hands. "We havn't seen him in months"

"We are currently investigating the body to determin who he is. We should find out soon enough, if it is indeed Callum Logan"

Gail wiped away her tears. "You must be thinking 'stupid woman, how could she not know that she was sleeping ontop of bones'"

"Trust me, im not"

"I'm thinking that though" Gail sobbed "it's like Fred Wests House of Horrors and i really didn't have a clue"
