The Bones Never Lie

"I want the truth now" hissed the police officer as Kylie yawned. It was the next day and she was rudely awakened by a police officer wanting another statement.

"I told you the truth. I killed Callum"

"Wrong. You killed someone not Callum"

Kylie looked confused. "What"

The police officer threw down some peices of paper in front of her. "The dental records don't match as well as the bone structure. It's not Callum Logans body we found"

"Wh-what? This must be a mistake" Kylie said as she looked through the records.

"The bones don't lie" he said stairing at her coldly. "Do you want to know who we found"

Kylie nodded. She wasn't sure what was happening.

"Kyle Richardson. He has a record"

"Kyle?" Her heart was hammering in her chest. "He's one of Dentons fallowers"

"Denton?"

"He was wanting money from Callum and Callum was trying to get the money from us" Kylie shook her head as she suddenly got to her feet. "I need to see David"

"I'm sorry, we can't let you do that"

"I need to see my husband. I didn't kill Kyle, i killed Callum."

"Your husband has a history of violence. Could he of-"

"No" Kylie said quickly, shaking her head. "I told you, David didn't know until the body was dug up"

"You say that but i find that very hard to believe"

"IT'S THE TRUTH!" Kylie yelled. "Please let me see my husband"

The officer looked at her. "Wait here"

"Well it's not like i'm going anywhere" Kylie snapped as the officer left the room. Kylie ran her fingers through her hair. What is going on?

"I'm telling you i didn't do anything"

"David come on. Do you really expect us to believe your wife did it all on her own?" He rolled his eyes "A 110 pound woman dragging a 154 pound man to his grave. A bit far fetched if you ask me"

"I didn't say anything about Kylie. I have remained quiet. Are you telling me she has confessed" David leaned forward slightly. "I killed no one and i didn't get rid of any body"

"It wasn't Callum Logan buryed underneith the concrete"

David stared at the officer, his face showing little emotion apart from the flicker of his eyebrow. "What?"

"Yeah thats right. Now either she's lying about Callum or you knew, had your own body to hide and moved Callums body some place else"

"I need to see Kylie"

"Can't let you do that. You know what i think?"

"What?" David ran his fingers through his hair.

"I think it was you. All you. You killed 'Callum' and Kyle. Put Callum some place else. I think it was all you"

"Who the hell is Kyle"

"He's the one that was burried under your house. Now start talking"

"I know nothing" David said desperatly. "Please let me see my wife"

"Start talking"

"Alrighg i did it" David said annoyed as the officer leaned forward. "Did what?"
