Kylie knew the minute she got with David Platt that they were referred to by many people as weatherfields answer to Bonnie & Clyde. She had always taken the reference light heartedly, there was just something so powerful about two criminals finding eachother and falling in love. Thats what they had been, two criminals, hardly enough to nickname them after two murderous love struck villians but now, the reference seemed to fit. They had blood on there hands and were on the run with two confused kids.
Davids palms were sweaty as he gripped the stearing wheel tightly. Casually looking in the mirror to check on Max at thr back. "You know, this is fun"
Kylie turned to look at him in disbelieve as Lily spoke to herself quietly on Kylies lap. "Fun? Where on the run"
"Yes i know Kylie. Just give me a break. Im trying to lighten the mood"
"You can't" Kylie sighed gently resting her hand on Davids knee. "Thanks for trying"
Gail could never unsee what she had seen. It was in her head everytime she closed her eyes. She had been sleeping over a grave for months.
Audrey was trying to help Gail forget with some kind words and a spot of tea but nothing was working.
Nick had been reluctant to go back to work but the Bistro needed him. Though the minute he stepped through the door Steph and Andy were there asking questions.
Sarah had given Bethany a few days off school as she couldn't face her classmates who would now be aware that her Aunt and Uncle were all over the news and on the run.
Sarah herself was finding all of this difficult, being heavily pregnant with a dead mans baby and all this stressed was taking its toal on her. From the moment she had gotten up out of bed despite not being able to sleep, she had felt sudden pain in her stomach and put it down to braxton hicks contractions. Just going by her day, ignoring the looks she was recieving in the street and walking into Tracys flower shop, thinking that some flowers would help her mood.
"Oh hey up, have you heard from your brother yet" Tracy asked with a slight grin, glad that someone else round here was the talk of the street.
"Tracy" said Todd in a warning tone as Tracy grinned. "What, i'm just curious, i would hate for my little girl to be in a street with two killers"
"If you were that concerned about your little girl being in the same street as a killer, you would of left years ago or have you forgotten about Charlie" hissed Sarah as she looked around at the flowers.
Tracys smug smile disappeared from her lips as she stuck her nose in the air at Tracys comments. Sarah suddenly felt a searing pain in her stomach, almost buckiling over.
"Sarah? Are you alright?" Todd asked but Sarah just shook her head. "Oh no, no, not yet" Sarah gasped out, but it was too late as water began to drip down her legs.
The sound of police sirens alerted David and Kylie to the police car behind them. Kylie gasped turning to David who was now speeding up the road. "David" Kylie said in a panic.
David ignored her foccusing on losing the police behind them. Max leaned forward in the back and threw up water at the speed David was now going.
"David!" Kylie gasped as Lily vomited on Kylie, letting out a shrill cry. "DAVID! RED LIGHT"
David gripped the steering wheel tighter. His eyes narrowing at the red light up ahead. Driving through the red light, kylie let out a scream as two cars skidded to avoid them.
The car drove over a bump in the road, causing Max to jump and bump his head on the roof of the car.
The police still chasing behind them at a fast rate. "David, what are we going to do"
