On The Run

The plan was to go to the airport and buy four tickets to barbados, only to find out the next plane to barbados was in 24 hours. It wouldn't work. By that time they would be all over the news and airports would be in lock down.

So now they found themselves driving around, on the road to London. The kids fast asleep in the back and Kylie who had alot on her mind didn't have the energy to sleep.

Her and David hadn't spoke in a good hour and Kylie couldn't handle the silence. Turning on the radio, she wished she hadn't as she heard her and David being spoken about.

David quickly turned the radio off and sighed as Kylie continued to stare at the dash. "Bonnie and Clyde they called us"

"We've been called worse" muttered David as he pulled into a parking lot outside a B&B.

"I think you're enjoying this" Kylie snapped noticing Davids small smile.

"Trust me Kylie, right now i wish we were in 2014. The start of that year. Remember before Callum, before Max and his ADHD. We were happy"

"And then i went and screwed it up" sighed Kylie. David turned to look at her and Kylie could tell by the look on his face that he agreed with her.

Audrey had let Gail sleep at hers while number 8 was being investigated. Nick, Sarah and Bethany were all in Audreys living room. Sarah had been silent during the whole ordeal while Nick tried to peace together what had exactly happened.

"I can't believe they could be so stupid" Audrey said placing a mug of tea down beside Gail.

"Gran we don't know what exactly happened" said Nick as Sarah gulped. Her palms sweaty.

"I do"

They all turned to Sarah. Bethany looked confused as she eyed her mum.

"I'll be going to jail to. I'm sorry mum" Sarah sobbed as Gail got to her feet. "Sarah?"

Sarah ran into Gails arms, sobbing as the family couldn't speak for being in shock.

"Sarah, ssh. Tell us what happened" Gail said pushing Sarah away at arms length to take a good look at her.

"I didn't mean for it to go that far. I thought i was trying to fix things"

"Sarah, start at the begining" Audrey said as her and Gail gently helped Sarah sit on the couch.

"Last year in September. Callum was wanting twentie grand from Kylie and David but they didn't have that kind of money. He said that once he has the money, he will be gone. David went to look for Callum and Kylie left her phone beside me. So i took it and messaged Callum pretending to be Kylie" Sarah was glad this was all coming out now.

"Callum turned up at the house and i was trying to frame him. Recording everything he said but he clocked on and he attacked me. I thought i was going to die"

"Oh mum" sighed Bethany as she sat next to her.

"I was so scared. Then the next thing i knew. Callum is dead. I got out from under him and Kylie is stood there with a wrench"

"Kylie?" Nick was shocked. He had thought it would of been David, not Kylie.

"We panicked. Then Bethany came round"

Bethanys eyes widend slightly.

"We couldn't turn you away, so we moved the body and let you in. You left pretty soon and Kylie phoned David"

"I was close to Callums body" Bethany was stunned and felt some what sick.

"David arrived and took control. Wrapping Callums body in a sheet. We were gonna dump him in the canal but Tony and Todd stole Calluns car and torched it. I panicked and David told me to leave. I left as him and Kylie dealt with the body. I didn't know until october that the body had been cemented underneath your floor mum"
