I knew I would have to go back to school eventually so I decided that I might as well go today. Maybe I wouldn't be too far behind on work. You would think since I have no life and no friends that I would have good grades... wrong. The teachers disliked me as much as the students. I've even heard of some of them complaining to the principle that I shouldn't be allowed at the school and they don't want me in their classes.
Since they can't purposely fail me, they just ignore me. I don't get any help from them. The only reason they pass me is probably because they are scared and don't want me again. They are horrible. I do have one teacher that is my favourite. He is the only one that doesn't mind me being in his class. If I am not spending my time in the library or alone somewhere, I'm in Mr. Dafner's class. He teaches one of the computers classes, and I have taken all the ones I could to have him as my teacher.
I finally got out of bed when I heard my grandmother calling me. I'm pretty sure I heard her mumble something under her breathe about me being lazy and no good.
I threw on whatever was laying around, and trudged into the kitchen to where my grandmother was sitting. We never usually say anything to each other. Before my parents died I would visit my grandmother all the time. We were really close, we loved our visits together. Now that she had to be my legal guardian, she wasn't too thrilled. Lucky for her only another year and a half until I was on my own.
"You better be going to school today. No staying home, and no skipping." Good morning to her too.
Instead of saying anything I just nodded my head and left without eating breakfast. I didn't want to sit there in awkward silence with her.
When I got to school everyone seemed to ignore me, like usual, but this time more intensely. It seemed like the whole school was just pretending that I wasn't even there. But when I say everyone, I mean everyone. In a way it was oddly comforting. I guess this is better than having bad attention drawn to me.
I walked to my locker in the busy hallways, trying to stay out of every ones way. Too bad for me it looked like everyone else was at their lockers too. I tried to quickly open my locker to get my books out when something fell out of my locker. When I looked down I saw a knife with what looked like blood splattered on it. I tried to pick it up before anyone noticed, but I was too late.
