Chapter 2 - You got the girl in detention... twice
I walked in to school wearing my favourite pink top, matching with my black jeans, and my studded boots. I had a lot of studded shoes simply because I don't think I can stand wearing shoes without studs on them.
I checked my timetable telling me I had an okay day. I had PE all week, which is a bonus, since I loved PE, the only downside to it, was the smell you have to endure for the remaining day.
I opened my locker placing in all my bags, looking left to right and realise that infact nobody was around. It was either that I was really early, or really late. I sighed, being late on your second day of school isn't the best thing to do, especially when you're trying to set a good girl image.
I slammed my locker shut, the sound echoing through the hall ways. I walked towards some classrooms, hoping to find someone to help me, but instead the classrooms were all empty and the stools were on the table.
Just as I heard the front double doors open, I glanced quickly hoping it was someone that could help me find out where to go. I know it was my second day of school and I should know where to go by now, but I was really bad at remembering things, and this school had three floors, you have to feel my pain.
"I never thought you were the type of girl to ditch assembly" His voice rang in to my ears.
"Assembly?" My eyebrows scrunched up in confusion.
"Yes, you know the one where everyone goe-"
I put my hand up interrupting him. "I know what an assembly is, I just didn't know we had assembly today" I say, brushing a strand of hair from my face.
He chuckled. "yeah, well now you do" He smirked. I could wipe that smirk of his face. I try to calm myself down. I don't wanna ruin my reputation and I don't want anyone to know what I'm actually like.
"Aren't you meant to be there?" I ask, eyeing him suspiciously, but he shrugs his shoulders, in a not bothered way.
"There's this thing called ditching" He states.
"More like, your lazy ass couldn't be bothered to get out of bed early"
He chuckled. "You could put it that way"
"Hey, aren't you in my lessons" I asked him.
"No, I just follow you around"
I slapped his arm, making him chuckle. "Well, that means you must be clever" I stated.
He shrugged his shoulders, before mumbling "I guess"
"Cool."
"What's with the dull replies princess?"
"Tired," I tell him. "And don't call me that!""Call you what princess?" He asks, pretending to not know, and I mentally want to kick him in the shins, but instead I figure it be easy if I don't say anything, and so I roll my eyes.
"You know you should stop doing that" He leans against the locker and crosses his arms across his chest.
"Doing what?" I ask him, dumbfounded.
"Pretending to be innocent."
I could feel my heart almost stop for mere second, and my palms beginning to sweat and I was pretty sure my cheeks had turned crimson red and there was sweat dripping from my forehead.
"I really don't know what you're on about," I tell him, "I'm getting late, see you around." I wave him off. Wishing I don't actually see him again, because his presence was infuriating, and I knew he would find a way to unmask me. So I begin to walk towards what seemed like a hall, until I feel a tight grasp on my wrist.
"You know your going the wrong way right?" He smirked.
"I knew that" I shrugged him off. " I was just err, yanno"
"No I don't yanno" He says grinning. What a way to embarrass myself.
I mumbled a few things before walking off, but was soon walking with him to where the assembly would be held.
I opened the double doors for the gym, to find that there was no one in sight, and I turn around hoping to see the boy but instead I'm faced with an empty corridor.
"Hello?" I whisper shout, where has that douchebag gone. I continue to walk down the corridor, checking every dip in case he had wondered off. I stop once my eyes meet another double door. How many bloody halls did this school have.
Pushing the doors opened, my eyes glance at the principle who was stood at the front, sending daggers at me.
"YOUR LATE! DETENTION!" She screamed turning pink.
"I-"
"SIT DOWN"
"But i-"
"Stop talking"
I nodded my head, I scan the rows, looking for an empty seat and once I see one in view, I make my way towards it.
One... Two... three
"Your cute when you're nervous" I almost jump from my seat, turning around my eyes meet the boy in the corridor and I mentally imagine my self stabbing him over and over again.
"You're a douche." I tell him, annoyed. I try to calm myself down, not wanting to gain the attention of anyone else.
"A hot douche." He smirks, and I roll my eyes, not only was he annoying as hell he was also conceited.
"You wi-"
"CHASE DANIELS AND CHLOE SUMMERS STAND UP"
My head snaps up, meeting the gaze of the principal, and I instantly stand up, not wanting her to get angrier than she was now. "Share with the school what you were talking about"
"well, Chloe here was trying to get me to go on date, but I said no"
"Wha-"
"DOUBLE DETENTION, BOTH OF YOU"
I covered my face with my hands. Here I am trying to be a geek but it's the second day of school and I've landed myself in detention twice.
