Chapter Two: The Interloper

The team assembles at the tower with Batman and Flash. "The league has come to an agreement that Rumpelstiltskin is our mistake and it is now our duty to ensure he is returned to where ever he came from."

"Umm, that sounds easier said than done?" Kid Flash complained.

"Why is the Rumpelstiltskin problem ours anyway?" Artemis also contributing with the complaining.

"Rumpelstiltskin is here because of us. And only we know of his capabilities." Flash put in.

"Exactly, isn't he really 'powerful'?" Artemis argued, using her fingers to quotate powerful.

Dick whispers into Wally's ear. "'The League' is clearly not in our league."

Wally laughs and agrees with Dick's comment.

"Is something funny, Kid?" Flash glares at one of his younger protégés.

"Ahhhh no, Flash."

Flash held the glare narrowing his eyes more each second.

Impulse saving Kid Flash from the glare shouted a question. "Ahhhh, any idea's to find out where this Rumpel was from? He said he was never from the underworld... But he really was happy at the fact that there are now bridges made that make it possible for people to cross worlds."

"Impulse, did he tell you anything, while you we're held captive by him?"

"The creep didn't tell me anything exactly. Although he was preparing a room or a spell for me. Anyways, he must ran out of time, I don't think whatever he was trying to achieve worked. You guys managed to come for us in time" Impulse talking above the average talking speed of a human, as always.

Everyone shifts and flinches, showing concerned, anxious faces. "Why didn't you tell us this earlier?" Kid Flash scolds.

"I'm sorry, I didn't think it was that important." Impulse clearly stating his irrelevance and unimportance to the team.

Jaime begins to get upset. "Of course that was important!" His shouting cause a silence.

"Aqualad." Batman speaks to get his attention. "Your team will have a day off today, process what has happened, and we will contact you and your team for an assignment if one comes."

"Yes, Batman."

Batman turns away leaving the team and the tower, Flash followed.

Artemis was the first to leave along with Zatanna. Miss Martian and Superboy followed their lead, leaving Aqualad with the couples.

"So, what does my little Bird want to do?"

"Maybe a movie?"

"Perfect, Bart, can you call everyone to the living room, we're going to watch a movie."

"Crash! Help me her-manoo." Impulse gives baby eyes to his partner.

"Fine, but you better make up for this."

"You know I will." He replies winking.

Aqualad just sighs and rolls his eyes.

Wally and Dick head to the kitchen while the Jaime and Bart gather the others to watch a movie. "Hmmm, is this enough?" Wally asks, revealing his massive collection of junk food.

"Woah! That's more than enough for everyone. We're watching a movie, not having an early thanksgiving." Dick snickered.

"Oh don't be ridiculous... Dicky, this is for me." He pulls out a small bag of potato chips and releases it into a tiny bowl. "This is for the everyone." Wally smiles widely at his partner.
