Chapter Six: Unmasked Facade

"Nightwing!" Wally is greeted by Miss Martian, Artemis and Zatanna as soon as he arrived.

"It's good to see you again." Superboy and Aqualad said hello next.

Nightwing nods, and greets everyone around him.

"So where's baywatch? Artemis asks.

"I thought he would be here." Nightwing raises his eyebrow.

"We haven't seen him since he was carrying you to a zeta to take you home, yesterday." Miss Martian stated. "And he said he was planning on spending the whole with you."

"Hmmm, have you seen Blue or Impulse?"

"We did this morning, haven't seen them since." She answers.

"Wally and I bumped into them at Gotham this afternoon, and that's when I saw them last." Nightwing put in. "I'm going to head into the dorms, I need to gather some of my things from there and take it back to the batcave." He adds before he departs from the group.

"Is it me, or is something off with Nightwing." Miss Martian blurts, as the team watch him leave.

"I was detecting some magic attached to him almost as if it is leashing him, but it must be the blue ribbon he's carrying." Zatanna adds.

"No, his mind, it's silent. It seems it's empty." Miss Martian continues. Everyone looks at her with shock.

"You tapped into his mind without him knowing?" Artemis interrogated.

"No no, normally, I sense the capacity and general vibe of one's mind nearby. Like how a blind person feels their surroundings, I cannot help but feel and hear the thoughts that surround me." She pauses. "Dick, has no mind, or psyche. It's silent." She turns away from where Dick walked off and faces the team. "Something is wrong with Dick."

B03 Kid Flash, B23 Impulse, B22 Blue Beetle

"What's the matter kid? No superspeed hello or hispanic greeting? Flash acknowledge the group's entrance.

"Oh hey, Flash." Impulse says down.

"What's the matter?" Flash puts his hand on the younger teen's shoulder.

"Oh nothing, just bad... really bad news..." Impulse admits.

"Why, what is it Bart?" Flash leans in closer.

"It's actually between me and Blue." Impulse walks away.

"I see." Barry watches as Impulse leaves him. Batman walks over to find out what was wrong.

"What seems to be the problem." Batman asks Flash.

Flash sighs. "Young love." He smiles at Batman. "I'm sure it's nothing."

Kid Flash walks beside Blue and Impulse over the group. "Wally!" Miss Martian spots him as she shouts her greets. "Hey Blue, Hey Impulse."

"Hey have you guys seen Dick?" Kid Flash asks.

"Yeah sure, he's here somewhere. In his dorm, he says he's gathering some of his belongings." Artemis sighs out.

Blue blurts. "What, he is here already?"

"We need to find him." Impulse butts in.

"Why do you need to see him." Kid Flash questioned.

"Ummmm, we just want to say 'hi'... again." Impulse grabs Blue's hand and drags him while speeding.

"Real sus ese, real sus..." Blue sighs.
