- Seven months later -

Luke hadn't killed since the birth of Madison, he was swarmed with therapy sessions, work and raising his children as well as planning a wedding and satisfying his boys. They were trying to get Michael pregnant too, but it was taking a little longer than usual.

Luke stood in the nursery, Madison on his naked hip, bouncing him. Madi was giggling and making blubbering sounds, her hand on Luke's bare chest and scruffy cheek. Luke kissed her forehead and smiled down and his daughter, "I love you." Luke said softly making Madi look up at Luke and giggle again.

Calum came to the nursery door and leant against the door frame, he smiled at the sight of Luke and Madison, there was no doubt that Luke was an amazing dad. He didn't know how a psychopath with no feelings of guilt could be so fatherly?

"How cute." Calum smiled.

Luke looked up, smiling at Calum, he was in his boxers while Calum was in his work uniform. "Ash was sleeping and she started crying, I didn't want him to be bothered." Luke smiled.

"Have you seen Mikey?"

"I think he went to work, to catch up on an older case." Luke shrugged, rubbing Madison's back.

Calum frowned, "His dad just called asking for him to come in."

Luke sighed and put a clean nappy on Madison and put her in a onesie. "I have to go to the grocery store, I'll call him on the way."

"Do you wanna take Car with you? I'm gonna go nap with Ashton." Calum smiled.

Luke nodded, "Sure, where is he?"

"Downstairs."

Luke put a coat on both his kids and put them into their car seats, Carson in the front. Luke put his phone in the hands free compartment and called Michael, when he answered he sounded tired. "Hello?"

"Mike where are you?"

"Uh work." Michael said.

"Your dad called asking you to come in, shut up and tell me." Luke said, starting up the car and driving away from the house towards the supermarket.

"I'm booking us a honeymoon, it was meant to be a surprise." Michael said.

Luke sighed, "We were just worried Mike, sorry for spoiling the surprise. Where are we going?"

"Well I'm not telling you that." Michael scoffed. "It's warm that's all I'm saying."

"Okay that's fine."

"What did you think I was doing anyway?" Michael asked.

And Luke couldn't help but think that Michael had run away from them. "Um no where, it doesn't matter."

"Okay well I'll be home soon."

"Oh I'm going shopping, anything in particular you want?" Luke asked.

"Get the chocolate ice cream I like, and the garlic bread dough balls." They said their I love you's and hung up.

At the supermarket, Luke carried Madison, holding Carson's hand till he got a trolley, putting Madi in the seat. "You promise not to run away?" Luke asked Carson, holding his hand still.

Carson nodded, "Promise."

Luke hesitated before letting go of his hand. Luke turned back to Madi who was staring at the food and Luke saw it was the yogurts, "Baby you want strawberry or peach?" Luke asked the small blond girl, she turned to her dad and giggled. Luke picked up the two different yogurts and held them up to her, she tapped the peach and Luke put the peach in the trolley. "Car pick a yogurt for the week."

Car picked up raspberry and gave it Luke who put it in the trolley. Half way through shopping Madi squealed and Luke looked at her to see she was staring behind Luke. The blond turned around to see another little girl with her mum and Luke smiled. "You're gonna be gay aren't you?"

Madi squealed again, clapping her hands.

After paying for the food and the cashier lady calling Carson and Madison adorable, they headed back home. Luke put Madi in her bouncer and told Carson to watch her before he put the shopping away, taking out some food to make dinner with. It was already half four and Luke liked for the boys to sit and have family dinner with their kids.

Carson came in, making grabby hands at Luke to be put on the counter. Once sat down, he smiled, "Daddy, can we get a puppy?"

"Why?" Luke asked.

"My friend at school has one and he's fluffy and cute and small and I want one." Carson giggled.

"Baby, they don't stay that was forever, they grow up." Luke told his son.

"I don't care, I want a dog."

"I'll talk to your dads." Luke smiled, "I know Daddy Cal had always wanted one."

Carson hugged his dad once Luke was close enough before kissing his cheek. Carson was put down before running off in to the living room again. A few minutes later a tired Ashton entered the kitchen, cuddling Luke from behind. "Hey cutie." Luke smiled, turning around and kissing Ash. "Did you know Car wants a dog?"

Ashton nodded, "Whining about it all day."

Calum came in the room then, "So did you find Mike?"

"Yes I did, he's making honeymoon plans. Won't tell me where though." Luke said, holding Ashton who closed his eyes as he snuggled in to Luke's broad chest.

"Oh," Calum mumbled, "I feel like I ruined the surprise now." He frowned. Calum came forward for a cuddle and kiss before he went to the living room.

Ashton looked up at Luke then, "Have you had any cravings?" He asked softly making Luke look down at him.

The blond shrugged, "A little but not a lot. Therapy and meds are working so far."

Ashton grinned and leaned up to kiss Luke on the lips before he left the kitchen to his family.

Luke hated lying to his boys. He wasn't feeling better, at all.
