Luke drank the beer in front of him, the cold alcohol tipping down his throat and he felt the buzz running through his veins and skin. He felt warm inside from the alcohol. He comforted him.

Luke was still itching, that little nagging feeling in the back of his head telling him to go for it. To kill.

"Luke baby." Luke turned his head to Michael who sat beside him. He smiled. "You okay love?"

Luke nodded, "mhm, don't worry 'bout me." And maybe Luke was a little on the drunk side but so was the whole team at the station--they had solved their case and wanted to celebrate.

Michael kissed Luke softly, "maybe when we go home we could try again?"

"Again?" Luke asked, "I'm feeling like we aren't suppose to have another baby if it's taking so long."

Michael frowned, shaking his head. "Don't say that, this time it'll work, I can feel it."

Luke sighed but nodded, "okay then." He kissed Michaels forehead and smiled.

His eyes caught a man stand up from a chair near the window. He looked drunk as hell and Luke took his chance. "I'm gonna go to toilet, be back in a few." Luke said, standing up and yawning before he walked towards the bathroom.

He saw the man leave the pub they were in before following when knowing Michael or his friends didn't see him. The door shut behind Luke, he ran a hand over his face and through his hair. He could do this. He had to.

The man was ten or so yards in front of Luke, crossing an alley way. Luke clenched his fist before he walked to the man quickly, and before anything could be said, Luke wrapped his arm around the mans neck, then his stomach before dragging him in to the alleyway.

The man choked, gasping for air before Luke threw him to the floor. The man took in gulps of air and stared up at Luke, "look man, take my wallet, just don't hurt me."

A grin stretched across Luke's face, "I don't need your money." Luke reached his hand in to his inside pocket, pulling out the shiny knife he had.

"W-what do you want? I don't have anything! Please!"

Luke walked over to the guy, stepping over him before leaning down. "Sorry it had to be you."

The knife sunk in to the mans chest and his mouth fell open in a silent scream and Luke gripped the back of his head by his hair. "Don't scream." Luke said before pulling the knife out.

"P-plea-se." the man begged, he was bleeding out so Luke dropped the mans head before slicing his neck open with the knife.

He choked before falling slack against the wall. Luke stood up, going around the now dead body and gripping his hands and dragging him towards the large bins down the alley. Luke opened the bin before throwing the man in and shutting the bin again.

Luke wiped his knife on a bin bag and pocketed the knife and headed inside the pub again, into the bathroom before washing his hands and his knife.

He went back out to Michael, pressing a kiss to Michaels forehead. "Wanna go home now?"

Michael grinned, "sure."

Michael took Luke's hand, feeling the slight wetness from the bathroom and scrunching up his nose. "You never dry your hands properly."

"Sorry baby." Luke wiped his hands on his jeans and took Michael's hand again. They said goodbye to their colleagues and friends and left the pub, getting a taxi.

Michael lay his head on Luke's shoulder, his hands playing with Luke's and feeling the wedding ring on his third finger and smiling.

Luke stared out of the window, enjoying the warm touch of Michael. But all he could think of was that he'd killed an innocent--gone against his own code but he couldn't help it. He was sick and he needed help.

Luke shouldn't have enjoyed the fact he'd killed someone that wasn't a rapist or murderer. He glanced down at Michael and sighed, kissing his forehead. "I love you Mikey."

Michael looked up at Luke, "I love you too Luke." He leaned up and kissed Luke softly.

Luke had to get away. Before he hurt such a precious being.
