Evelyn's P.O.V

I woke up to someone screaming and saw Carl was still sleeping. I quickly shook him awake

"Whats wrong? Are you okay?!" He asked in his morning voice

"I-I heard screaming and got scared.." I stuttered

"It's okay. Everything will be okay.." He wrapped his arm around me

"I miss Enid." I said and hugged him

He hugged back "I know she's okay. She's strong like that" Carl assured and I nodded

"Do you want to get something to eat?" He asked smiling and changing the subject

"I thought you'd never ask!" I said and we stretched and stood up

We walked to the kitchen and stood by the island

I quickly got on the counter to see what there was to eat in the cupboard

"Pudding?" I asked turning my head and smirking at Carl

"OH YES LETS GO!" Carl said and pulled out two spoons while I grabbed the big can of pudding.

I jumped down and set it on the island

Carl was concentrating really hard on trying to open it with his knife

"You're so cute when you concentrate." I laughed

He looked up and gave a little laugh "you're cute when you know how much I like pudding." He finished and popped the cover off

We both started eating the pudding and laughing about everything

"Remember that one time Ron fell in the mud and we both started laughing so hard we slipped?" I asked and Carl started laughing and pudding came out his nose

I started laughing so hard it started crying

"It's burns!!" He cried and fanned his face with his hands

"IM CRYING!" I laughed pointing to my eyes

We both eventually pulled ourselves together.

"Wanna go outside?" He asked, setting his spoon down

"Sure.." I said and he put his hat on and I grabbed my holster.

We walked outside and Rick was working on the weak part of the wall.

The tower kept on creaking which was really scaring me

Carl grabbed my hand

"Don't be scared.." He said and I bit my lip

Rick stopped working and looked up at the sky

Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at the sky

Green balloons were floating in the air

We heard footsteps and looked to see Maggie and running towards us

"...Enid?" I whispered

The moment got cut off by the tower falling

"EVERYONE RUN!!" Rick said as the tower fell and the walkers started walking in

"Shit! Evelyn come on!!" Carl yelled and my eyes grew wide
