Princess of Phoenix Drop

Garroth's POV

You Probably weren't expecting Garroth's view huh? Here it is!

Garroth

The man named Zenix had picked Aphmau up and threatened to stab her, I study him for any opening to strike. "One step and she gets it." He spits coldly. I find his side was unguarded excluding his armor. With all of my might I threw my sword at him the handle hitting him hard in the side making him drop the dagger.

He makes a noise of pain and frustration and re picks Aphmau up, bridal style and runs off into the forest full speed. I chase after him but quickly get lost in the maze of trees. "Aphmau! Where are you!" I call out, Laurence was following me, "split up!" He yells I just nod in answer. I run faster than I have before than I hear a call for help, "Garroth! Laur-" the voice gets cut off by something. That was Aphmau. I run towards the yell and see Aphmau, Zenix had a cloth over her mouth she seems out of it until her eyes widen and she looks at Zenix. She looks at his knee and kicks he drops down in pain. She runs the opposite direction from me, deeper into the forest.

           I run towards Zenix he looks at me , "this is what you get for hurting Aphmau," I say coldly as possible then kick him in the face to knock him out. I run to where Aphmau was, "Aphmau!" I call, she doesn't hear I run next to her but she wobbles. I run in ahead of her then turn around to run towards her. As I do so a branch smacks my head knocking my helmet off but I don't pick it up I run to Aphmau. "Aphmau!" I call again. She looks at me this time and trips over a branch. I run to her side and catch her I lightly shake her shoulder. "Aphmau are you okay?" I ask she doesn't reply but closes her eyes, and here breathing slows, she was asleep.

      I pick her up bridal style and carry her through the forest, I see Laurence, "that way, go get Zenix I knocked him out bring him to the cells in the guard tower, now!" I command, he salutes and runs to where Zenix was. I run to the direction where Phoenix-drop was, "you'll be okay Aphmau, I promise. I know you will," I whisper to Aphmau. Ever since I saw Aphmau I've felt weird, a feeling I never felt for anyone. I look at her face she was so beautiful. I will protect you Aphmau, with all my might until the day I die, you will be guarded.
