The Kings POV

Aphmau's Dad

I see Garroth run into the castle full speed he was holding something in his hands, but I couldn't make it out. When he got closer my stomach dropped, it was my only child Aphmau. Her eyes were closed her hair flying around as Garroth ran. "Garroth! W-what happened to Aphmau?" I ask fearfully, she's just asleep. Yeah, she's not dead just asleep.

        "Your highness, my sincerest apologies but there's no time to explain! We need Lucinda or Zoey!" Garroth explains in a rush. "Go set her in her room and guard her with your life." I say sternly as possible, he salutes and runs to her room. "Guards!" I call out a guard comes running in and salutes. "Your highness?" He asks still saluting, "get Lucinda or Zoey, find them! Send people with you! Bring 4 with you to find Lucinda and 5 other people to find Zoey! Than bring them to Garroth he's in Aphmau's room " I explain sternly as I can, "Yes sir!"  He runs off, I sit in my throne my stomach hurts from fear. Irene, please let Aphmau be okay,

        I feel so useless, this is why I hate running a kingdom only your guards can help. While you sit in your throne while others are in danger. That's how I was taught. Wait, where is my wife? I begin to panic even more. "Guards!" I call out again, this time a group of 2 come out "your highness?" They ask, "find my queen please," I ask them they salute and run off into the hallways of the castle. Irene help us.

    I sit in my throne my eyes slightly water, no. I will not stand by as everyone else does something. I get up and begin to look for Mary, (the queen) I look in her room it was a mess. Chairs were flipped over her once neat bed was messy. I look at her night stand and see words carved into the once smooth oak.

Give me the kingdom
Or she'll be all alone, who you
May ask? Well Aphmau of course!
All you have to do is simply yell
out your answer now.

I feel my stomach clench, "I will never give my kingdom to a monster like you!" I yell. I hear the floor creak and turn around to see 2 people they were in armor helmet and all, one of them were holding Mary. "What do you want?" I ask coldly. "You read it, the kingdom but you'd never give up to us monsters." He says colder then I did. I feel a sharp pain on my side and fall with a thud. I look at Mary, my eyes water, no I will not cry in front of them. The man gives a evil grin, and grabs what little if hair I had to pick me up. "Now will you give me the kingdom?" He asks, he had black hair sticking out of his helmet, I stare into his dark brown eyes.

I spit at his eyes "never." I reply sternly. He growls and grabs the handle of his sword and hits my face making my vision black. Knocking me out,
