Garroth POV

I place Phoenix on Zoey's extra bed, "do you know what she's talking about?" I ask Zoey I had just explained the whole story of what happened. "I-I honestly have no clue." She begins, "but I do know about the Zane part." I feel my stomach drop, she doesn't know....does she? I touch the top of my head to feel around for my helmet sadly it wasn't there. "Zane is the high priest of O'khasis, he had a older brother his name is not known to many people, neither do I know,
but he died. Some say them that turned Zane into a dark cold man, others say that inspired him to be a priest knowing him as the sweetest man alive." Zoey states smartly.

"But, I'm the few that believe it turned him into a dark cold man." She stops, "I'm off track all I know is Zane is a very dark and evil man which worries me if Aphmau is missing and she claims she's going to meet him, I have a really bad feeling." She says annoyed with herself. "Thank you for the information I'm going to look for Aphmau." I say sternly she nods and I turn to walk out. Please be okay Aphmau. I start to run the direction Aphmau was. I stop looking on the ground seeing an unconscious Aphmau, "Aphmau!" I call happily I ru. To her but feel a sharp pain in the back of my head. Everything was just a high pitched ringing. "That was to easy," A cold voice says with a pause, suddenly I see his dark black hair covering his right eye, that mask covering the bottom half of his face.

        "That was too easy......Brother." He says coldly my visionaries black and him saying that echoing in my head.

          

Aphmau POV

I wake up with a start, gasping for breath. I wipe my head feeling sweat, hastily I wipe it off. "W-where am I?" I ask myself aloud, "wonderful question Princess, but u can't tell you that so ask a different question you only get 4 questions." The familiar cold voice says, I look around I was in a very small room it was dark. I was on a light purple bed how in the nether does he know my favorite color? No it's okay, it's probably just a coincidence. "Do you like the bed? I made it just for you, see? Your favorite color." I look up to where the voice was coming from only to see the outline of the man.

         A small croak of fear escape my lips, my eyes water. "Fine." I say with a shaken voice, the man laughs as if knowing I'm on the edge of bawling. "W-where....no, who are you?" I ask, "Zane." He replies with a emotionless voice, "three left." He says mockingly, "Is this some kind of sick joke?!" I almost yell. I suddenly hear a mumbling it sounded like my name being called but it was muffled.

            Zane laughs, "yes, two left." He says. Dang it that wasn't meant to be a question. "Will you ever let me go?" I ask. "Yes, one more left." I hear my name muffled again. "What is- never mind." I say about to ask what that was. "I'll go ahead and answer that since I'm a nice guy." Zane begins, "That was Garroth." He says giving a small laugh, "Garroth! Zane! Please let him go! It's me you want... I think..... Just let him go!" I yell my voice cracking. Tears rolling down my cheeks. I try to get up and run but my feet were tied to the railings of the bed, "one more question Aphmau." Zane said ignoring my plea. "D-do you have Laurence? Is he okay? Is he alive?" I ask fearful.

        "Yes, in fact he's here now. Now I get 4 questions." He says, I hear another muffled call, "Zane. Let them go!" I yell. He just laughs, "Aphmau choose, you. Garroth. Or Laurence." He says, "Gar-......Laur-....M-me." I croak he laughs. "So you?" He asks I just nod hoping he can see me. "Three more Zane." I say coldly as possible but fail because of my voice cracking. "Do you know how Garroth and Laurence feel about you?" He asks, "N-no...?" I answer confused.

               "Did you know Laurence is, or was, a Mief'wa and shall I add, apart if the 'El'Phanor' region?" (I know it's not a real region in the series but it is in this book so shh!) "n-no" I croak more tears rolling down my face. Memories flooding into my head. "Aphmau!" Phoenix called, her calls for help echoing in my head. "I'm sorry." I mutter tears continue to roll down my cheeks. I was sobbing, "Finally did you know, Garroth is, eldest Prince of O'Khasis." Zane says slyly.
 
       "N-n-no!" I shout in response tears rolling down my face, "Mom? Dad? Aphmau?" Hailey's voice echoed in my head. Her hurt betrayed voice. "Stop!" I yell. "Now you can go home." Zane says. I look up and see Zane staring at me. He grabs his sword and turns the handle towards me, I look down knowing what comes next. Full force he hits my face, my vision black, "Aphmau!" Phoenix and Hailey's voices echo in my head.
