The Prophecy

Garroth's POV

It's been weeks since Aphmau has gone missing. It's weird after she was taken by Zane the next day her mother and father appeared. They had no memory of being taken and worst of all, no memory of Aphmau. Neither did the village leaving only me, Laurence, Galatea, Aaron, and Phoenix.

We all agreed to meet up after sunset at the entrance of the woods, none of us had guard duty then. I run down the gravel path. Each step I slowly gain more speed. When I reach the entrance I see Galatea and Aaron. "Garroth!" Galatea calls jumping and waving madly at me. "Pssst! Garroth! Over here!" She whisper yells. "How did you know it's me? I have my helmet on." I ask, "exactly." She replies, "ever since I meet you, you've always had that blasted thing on. The only time it's off, is when you're around.....Aphmau." She pauses before saying her name, just the thought of her made my heat ache, i get snapped out of reality by a leaf being broken. I quickly turn my sword out I attack the cause of the noise and see Laurence he had barely managed to deflect my attack.

"Sorry, I'm kinda jumpy ever since." I stop, "yeah I know, me too." Laurence replies. I u draw my sword. We turn to Galatea and Aaron, "all we need is Phoenix." Aaron says. We had found out Zane some how possessed him to see if he provoked Aphmau enough shed prove that she's apart of a prophecy. That's what we're here to talk about. "Hiya!" We hear a familiar voice call, then see Phoenix jump out of a branch landing in the center of us all, "miss me?!" She calls happily soon seeing everyone's grim faces, "come on guys, we need to stay at least a little cheerful. Isn't it what Aph would want?" She says, "you're right! Let's be....cheer leader!" Galatea says, "now give me a Smile!" She say jumping. "S!" Laurence says jumping while doing the splits, "M!" He makes a deformed 'M' with his arms. "Yeah that'll do for now." I tell him.

"Okay onto business." Aaron says. "What exactly is the prophecy about Phoenix?" I ask, "well." She sighs, "It mentions the divine war. How it was no use because one of the Divine Warriors had went missing, the prophecy speaks of Aphmau's mother being that warrior. But she somehow died while giving birth to Aphmau, passing on her powers to Aphmau." She explains leaving me in awe. "She has powers of a Divine Warrior inside of her!" I ask obviously amazed.

"Pretty much yeah. Or that's at least what the prophecy says." She replies. I see something in the corner move. I turn to the woods drawing my sword. I slowly walk close to where I saw something move, I stop my stomach drops. I see Aphmau see was standing just staring at me with her brown eyes. They weren't twinkling with life like they usually were they were just pale. Where her purple dress's normally were was replaced by red and black armor. Shadow Knight armor. "Garroth you ok-" he cuts himself off once seeing Aphmau. "A-Aphmau?" I ask slowly walking towards her. Her eyes just followed my movement, when I was finally close to her I lightly touch her hands. "Aphmau?" I ask. A single tear rolls down her cheek I wipe it away.

"Garroth?" She asks. "Aphmau? It's me Garroth." I tell her. She slightly smiles and falls. I catch her holding her bridal style, her armor disappears and is replaced with her purple dress, dirty a hole on her stomach. The bottom all trim and rippled. The right sleeve that was once long was torn to her elbow, the left torn to her shoulder. "Thus meeting will have to happen later, we need Lucinda and Zoey." I say, "split up and try to find them, once you find Zoey use a purple flare, if you find Lucinda use red. Once you've seen or used both meet at Kiki's barn." I explain everyone bids and turns to look for Lucinda and Zoey. You'll be okay Aphmau. I promise.
