Princess of Phoenix Drop

An Explanation pt.2

Aphmau's POV

I feel my stomach drop, "Ph-phoenix?" I ask Galatea nods,
It's fine it's probably a different Phoenix, Phoenix is a popular name....right? "I-I'll have to see them later, I need to see Garroth and Laurence." I say sternly Galatea nods again and leaves. I climb the stair, Garroth is going to have some explaining to do, so is Laurence, I don't believe though. Laurence? Mief'wa? El'Phanor region? He couldn't have been apart of the people who killed Hailey....my little Hailey.

~Flash back~

"Hehe." Hailey giggles, "I'm gonna get you!" I call out. I slowly walk around I pass one of the cabinets just the size for Hailey to fit in. I hear giggle, "I got you!" I call while opening the cabinet drawer. She sees me and gives a small "yike!" She comes out, "haha! I have won!" I call she gives a small pout. We walk out of the room and out of the castle a guard standing by. The guard walks up to us and takes his helmet off showing light gray ears. "Hello princess how are you two today?" The guard asks, "I'm good!" Hailey says happily, "Aphmau mag I speak to you alone?" The guard asks. "Uh, sure." I reply uneasily, "stay here Hailey I'll be right back." She nods "hurry I don't like being alone." She says. I walk towards the guard, "yes?" I ask, "princess you need to leave Hailey, and never speak to her again." He says sternly, "w-what? No. I've known Hailey for years why do you think I'm going to just leave her?" I reply coldly, "because her life depends on it." He says creepily, "I'm telling father of your behav-" I get cut off by Hailey's scream. I run towards where I left her. She was there a man on top of her he had light blue ears. Soon even more Mief'was appear "Aphmau!" Hailey calls, one Mief'wa catches my attention he had light brown hair and bright orange ears and tail. He smirks, the Mief'wa moves his hand and two Mief'was grab Hailey, "Hey! Let me go!" She yells, the Mief'wa with orange ears moves his hand again and a Mief'wa kicks me hard in the stomach making me unable to stand. They all leave with Hailey, "Aphmau! Please! Help me! Aphmau!" Her calls for help echoing in my ears.

~Flash back end~

I shake the memory away I need to talk to Garroth and Laurence not dream about the dead. They have some explaining to do.
