Chapter 33: The Truth

*28 weeks later*

-Stephanie-

Yup. Time flies so fast especially when you are happy. So far, hindi naman ako masyadong nahirapan sa pagbubuntis ko. Sinunod ko lang yung sinabi ng Doctor na stay away from stress. 

I didn't crave for too much foods. Normal din lahat. Blood, sugar, cholesterol, everything. I'm on my last month now. And pareho kami ni Jessica na nagha handa na for giving birth.

Nandito na din sa Korea sina Krystal. Pati sina Kuya Leo at Yvan. They decided to go here para yung company naman dito sa Seoul ang ma manage nila. Hindi ko alam pero parang wala pa silang planong umuwi sa Manila.

Kasalukuyan akong nanunuod ng show sa may sala. Running man, featuring Girls' Day. Sam is also here. Si Jessica nandun sa bahay nila. Sina Krystal naman, nasa company.

"Mommy, what's this?" Tanong sa akin ni Sam at inabot ang isang pink envelop.

"I don't know eh. Want me to read it?" She nodded. Dahan dahan kong binuksan ang envelop. It looks like this isn't new pero na preserve.

I opened it then there was a pink paper inside. Is this a letter?

My Dearest Tiffany,

Boo, eleven days. It has been eleven days since that happened. But to tell you the truth, I still can't believe what I just saw. We've been dating for five years now. We were happy right? We were able to hide our relationship in public. Since, you want a quiet life, right?

But what happened? Am I not enough? Or, nag sawa ka na ba sa akin?

I thought that Gray is just a friend? You told me right, he is just a friend. I didn't know that friendship requires kissing and flirting now. I don't know. I wouldn't want to believe what I saw. But when you confirmed it yourself, I was speechless.

I didn't expect that you could do that to me. You cheated. I thought you love me? But what's this?   

Natigil ako sa pagbabasa nang makita ko si Khun sa may pinto. He was standing there with his suit on. Then he saw me, crying with my angry face.

"Boo, what happened?" He worriedly asked then held both of my hands.

"Mommy bakit ka cry?" Sam cutely asked.

Instead of answering them both, I slapped khun. Slapped him hard.

"What was that?!" Gulat na tanong niya.

Hindi na ako naka sagot. 'Cause I was so tired and exhausted. I fainted. Sigaw nilang mag ama na tumatawag sa akin ang huli kong narinig.

-Third Person's-

Tiffany was quickly rushed to the hospital. Hindi na napansin ni Khun ang hawak hawak na letter ng asawa dahil sa sobrang tense nito. Sam is also with him. At gulong gulo ang bata dahil sa mga nangyayari.

Nagpa panic na pinark ni Khun ang sasakyan sa labas ng emergency area. He calmed himself at binuhat si Stephanie na walang malay.

"Sam come here." Utos niya sa anak na sinabayan siya sa pag lalakad.

Mabilis pero madahan na nilagay ni Khun si Tiffany sa stretcher bago siya tuluyang ipasok sa delivery room. Natawagan niya na din ang mga kapatid ng asawa.

He is walking back and forth sa hallway at mukhang gulong gulo na si Sam.

"Daddy, is mommy and my baby brother okay?" Sam asked. Nilapitan naman siya ni Khun at umupo para maka level ang anak.

"I don't know baby. But let's just hope they're fine. Let's pray baby, okay?" Dahan dahan na nag nod si Sam then hugged her Dad.

Maya maya pa nang magkasunod na dumating sina Krystal, Ace, Leo at Jessica and Tyler.

"What happened?" Leo asked. Hindi siya sinagot ni Khun.

"I saw this sa sala." Sabi ni Krystal at binigay kay Khun ang letter na hawak kanina ni Tiffany.

"Oh my gosh! Don't tell me she saw this?" Jessica angrily asked.

"I- I think so. She was holding something when I arrived." He said then napa yuko. Jessica went near her to slap her. Si Leo naman, nasapak siya ng wala sa oras.
"I deserve that." He said.

"Buti alam mo! You know, I don't know what happened to you that time at nagawa mo pang mag bigay ng ganyang sulat kay Stephanie when that happened. Reverse psychology huh?" Leo angrily said at napatawa nalang with sarcasm.

"T-Tyrone." Jessica said. Kaya napatingin silang lahat sa kaniya.
"My water broke." She said. Napa sigaw si Tyrone sabay buhat sa asawa. He quickly looked for a nurse.

They were all tensed. Pero bago tuluyang umalis, kinuha ni Krystal ang pamangkin na nasa tabi ni Khun.

"If something happens to both of my nieces, you'll pay for everything. Remember that." Sabi niya bago tuluyang mag lakad palayo. Sam even asked what's happening dahil sobrang naguguluhan siya. Pero hindi siya sinagot ni Krystal. Instead, binuhat siya ni Ace.

Out of frustration, Nichkhun punched the wall two times. He's mad. And he's hurt. Isama mo pa ang tension dahil sa nangyari sa asawa niya. Natatakot siya dahil baka pag labas nito mula sa delivery room, nakaka alala na si Tiffany.

"It's a bouncing baby boy. Congratulations Mr. Horvejkul." Sabi ng Doctor nang maka labas ito. Nichkun asked where his baby is. Kaya naman sinamahan siya ng Doctor papunta sa nursery area.
"There's your baby boy." Sabi ng Doctor at itinuro ang batang mamula mula pa na may tag.

He then went to Stephanie's private room. She was already awake. And she looked dead on him.

"I still followed what you want. I give him the name that you wanted." She said without even looking at him. He tried to hold her hands, look at her straight in the eye but she wouldn't want to face him.

"Steph, let me explain please. Please boo." He pleaded.

"There is nothing more to explain khun. I already remember everything now." Sagot niya then let the tears escape.

"I'm sorry." He said.

"You know, what if we talk about this soon? I want to rest. I'm tired." He nodded then touch his lips into hers. there was no response. No feelings.

Mabigat sa kalooban na lumabas ng pinto si Khun leaving his wife crying. Due to physical and emotional pain. She just wanted to rest. But she couldn't. Dahil maya maya pa nang ipasok sa parehong kwarto ang nasa kamang tulog na si Jessica with her other cousin and sibling.

Agad na nilapitan ni Leo si Stephanie and there. She cried in his arms.

"Shh. It's okay. We're here." Sabi ni Leo at sinuklay pa ang buhok ng kapatid.

"Ang sakit. Ang sakit oppa." She continued on crying. Nag simula na ding umiyak si Krystal na nasa tabi lang ni Leo

"Unnie, mianhe. Sorry if we kept this from you."

"I know. And it's alright. I know what you guys did there. I do understand." She stopped.
"Pero ang hindi ko maintindihan, bakit kailangan pang itago niya sa akin? It took me years to find out. And I'm so tired." Napa sigh nalang siya. She can avoid her cousin's questions but she wont avoid her daughter's.

"Mommy, where's my baby brother? Where's Daddy? And why you crying?" She asked. Inilapit ni Ace si Sam kay Steph para makausap ito.

"Baby, your dongsaeng is still sleeping. I don't know where Daddy went." She answered.

Napa tingin siya sa mga kasama, as if asking help from them.

"Sam, you want to sleep first? Come here. Tito Ace is also sleepy eh." Nag nod siya at sumama kay Ace sa isang separate room. Lumapit naman ulit si Leo sa kapatid then asked,

"What are you planning to do now?"

"I want to rest." She stopped.
"I want to take the kids to LA."
