Chapter 5 Holly's POV

"I want to be captain!", Kristen shouted before anyone could say something.

"Then who else wants to be captain?" No response.

I rolled my eyes. "Ugh, fine, I'll be captain, for god's sake!"

Kristen and I stood and did rock paper scissors. She was rock. Me paper.

"Umm...Do I really need to choose a boy first? Okay fine. Zach?"

I regretted right after. Everyone stared at me. "What?"

Kristen interrupted. "My turn! I want...James."

"Finally! A girl! Noel?"

"Jennifer." And then I replied, "Kevin."

"Thomas." Oh well, "Tiffany."

"Sunny." It took me a few seconds to finally reply. "Jeremy."

"Adrian!" "Marian."

"Oh well, Greg."

The game started and our team(called the White Team {I know, classy}) started with throwing-off. Jennifer grabbed it and threw it to Adrian. He tried to throw the frisbee disk to Thomas, but luckily failed when Jeremy managed to make Adrian drop the disk. I picked the disk up and threw it to Marian, who threw the disk to Zach, who caught the disk in the endzone.

"Point for the White Team!" We high-fived each other but stopped when we realized the Black Team already scored a point. We all looked at each other helplessly shrugging and joined back to the game.

This time, as soon as the disk fell to the ground, Noel picked it up and threw it to Jeremy. Within an instant threw it to me, and I threw it to Marian when she dropped the disk, thanks to Kristen.

We were all still playing when we heard the bell ring, signaling sixth period, which was english for me.

I went to my locker to get my books.

"Hello, guys and girls!", Ms. Shaw started as the warning bell rang. Closing the door, she went to the whiteboard.

"I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I will give you an assignment!"

Everyone groaned, since the first thing you would hear when you enter Ms. Shaw's classroom would be, "You guys have a new assignment!"

"And the bad news is that there will be no homework. That's just sad, isn't it?"

As soon as she said that, everyone in the class cheered, and she had a face that clearly showed if she had regretted what she had just said.

"Listen up! We are going to have six groups of three and a group of two. And I am going to choose the groups! Isn't that wonderful?"

I rolled my eyes, Sometimes she was funny-other times, it was painful listening to her.

"Now I'm going to group you guys. I'm not going to repeat! Francis-you're with Kurt and Carly. Steve- you're with James and Harry. Isabel-with Karen and Aaron. Tiffany-with Nancy and Bridgette. Adam-with Kevin and Noel. Holly-with Greg and Adrian, and finally- Zach and Linda. Now get with your groups and plan a worksheet for the book '1984'. It must contain twenty questions of reading comprehension, a venn diagram comparing two characters, and a vocabulary list with twenty words with definitions and sentences."
