Chapter 2

Percys POV

I wake up in a dark room, at first I'm confused about where I am. Then everything hits me like a train. I start to worry about Annabeth.

Did she get away? Does she know I'm gone? Did they take her to?

Then my problem dawns in my mind. I have no idea where I am, who took me, and what day it is. I could have been here a week already!

I have to escape.

I groan and try to get up. I fall back down after getting an inch off the ground. My wrists shake and a I realise my wrists are shackled to the rocky wall of this cave.

I hesitantly move my legs to see if those are shackled to. They are. Of course they are.

I sigh and think, trying to figure out all my unanswered questions.

Then the door opens, revealing a shimmering man, like he isn't exactly human. The light from outside the room runs into my eyes, half blinding me.

The guy walks over to me, smirking confidentially.

"Percy, Percy" he says with tsk tsk voice.

I glare up at him, I'm not going to give into this man that easily.

"Listen Percy" he says, taking a knife from behind his back, and slowly scraping the side against my cheek, as if daring me to do something. "Your going to do exactly as we say"

"And if I don't?" I snarl, trying to come off as confident, but I'm really not very confident I'm even going to live another day.

"Well, we could easily kill your friends" he says. "Jason, Piper, Leo, Annabeth, Thalia, and the rest of those brats.

"You won't touch them" I say, meaning to come off as strong but it comes out quietly.

"Oh let's hope so" he smiles and walks out.

A/N: Hey guys, sorry for the long wait and short chapter. My dad just bought me and my friends a server on minecraft, so I've been distracted from writing because of that. I'm hoping the chapters will be more frequent.
