Ivy's POV

Once the Cyclopse turns to dust red lights flash and alarms screech into any ear for miles. I run as fast as I can, my backpack has slipped of my shoulders and is hanging on by my elbows and halfway between my shoulder and elbow on my right arm.

I can't stop and fix it either, so it just bounces there. Up and down, up and down, I try and focus on the way my backpack is bouncing while I run instead of the fear of being devoured by Cyclopes.

I trip over my own feet. My knee skids on the tile floor but ignore it and get up running.

They get closer and closer as my energy runs out, I can't run forever, the Cyclopes and I both know that.

I run strait into a room, hoping it could help but now I'm just trapped.

"Hello" one of them in front of the pack sneers with a sickly smile.

I hold my dagger in front of me, it's my only defence.

Out of the corner I see something of a shiny silver color in this dull room. Curiosity makes me look and it's a water fountain.

Daughter of Poseidon and a water fountain. It's the perfect escape, I have to get out of here!

I close my eyes and imagine the water fountain exploding.

Nothing happens.

Please Poseidon, i plead in my head.

"C'mon girl, open those pretty little eyes" one yells at me.

I ignore it and keep trying, I here the sound of metal hitting another surface and I open my eyes. Water is spewing out of a hole in the wall where the water fountain was.

The water is gathering at my feet. Suddenly I know what to do.

Thanks, uh, dad! I think.

Thalias POV

Watching Annabeth is boring, it's just her sleeping, and you can't watch HER because that's like watching her sleep, it is watching her sleep. You get what I'm trying to say? Yeah good.

I'm worried about Percy, we need to hurry and save him! Maybe I should call Jason or one of my hunters, since three is the best number for quests. Something is telling me not too, and this isn't a quest it's running around with my old friend Annabeth to save my friend and her boyfriend.

Percy and I have been through a lot together, we've saved Annabeth, destroyed a few giants and titans, and rescued some demigod, like Nico and Bianca. Poor Bianca, thinking about what happened to her makes me feel terrible, like it's my fault. I know Percy feels worse about it, since her brother asked him to protect her and he failed.

I owe Bianca my life, everyone on that quest does she saved us all.

The sun is peaking out through the darkness, I should wake Annabeth, after all we need as much time as we can get.

I shake Annabeth's shoulders, which wakes her up.

"What Thalia?"

"We need to keep going"

She gets up and stretches, and we start walking.

There's a dirt road were walking along the side of, we have been for hours. It's nice, catching up with Annabeth. I've been out hunting mythical animals while she's been saving the world, what we've both been doing is important and it leaves us with cool stories.

"So Bob the Titan saved you and Percy?" Annabeth was finally telling me the whole story of Tartarus from her point of view. I'd only heard Jason's, which he only saw a sliver, not even a sliver, of Tartarus.

We really need a faster system to get to California, at this rate we won't even get there after my immortal life is over.

Ivy's POV

I jump on top of the puddle which is growing bigger and bigger by the second. The water shoots out from beneath my feet faster than I would have thought possible, taking me with it right out the door.

The Cyclopes shout and curse behind me as I shoot away on my water skateboard. I stick my arms out like in a cheesy movie. I'm moving faster and faster by the second. I turn my head and see them trying to catch up there miles away.

I laugh, I feel so powerful, I feel incredible. I shoot right out two double doors and down a road.

Water from gutters and stores add to my puddle, making a tidal wave carrying me down the street.

I hear Apollo's voice, "go to sleep Ivy, your going to need it"

Suddenly my surge of power is gone, the tidal wave is still floating on adding more and more water. I can't help but close my eyes.

"Wake up" says a voice. I don't know who it is but I don't care I'm actually happy. I have a normal life now.

"Wake up" the voice says, now with much more force. I open my eyes and I'm staring into someone's green eyes.

"Chiron!" She yells.

"Yes Rachel?" Says a guy with a horse butt who I guess is Chiron, and I assume the girl is Rachel.

"She's a awake!" Rachel yells.

Chiron walks over and helps me up. He's part of a Greek myth. It was all a dream, me being normal. I don't want to be a daughter of Poseidon, anything but him. He's the god of water and I can't swim, nothing could get me to swim, I just can't swim. And it's humiliating.

"Alright Rachel I got it from here" says Chiron.
