We all started to panic. The entirety of the bus was still calm. We got up slowly, despite the unease in our chests. Walking to the front of the bus cautiously, we tried to escape yet another fight. That didn't work out too well. The driver locked the doors and windows. Everyone got up from their seats and stared at us. "Did you really think it would be that easy?" The large man said evilly. "That's not creepy at all..." I whispered in Kai's ear. She nodded her head. We looked around, running our eyes over the crowd yet again. We reached toward our weapons in unison and glanced at one another. Simon nodded, and we snapped them out with a quick flick of our wrists. Rhydian and Kai with their daggers, held menacingly in their hands. Me with my whip, uncurled, and Simon with his sword, positioned in a block move. We had our backs turned to one another, in a sort of protective square. Suddenly, the passengers surged forward at us. We launched into action, slashing and stabbing at the... whatever they were. They fell one by one, steadily. The driver looked horrified and surprised. I'm guessing that he didn't expect us to be trained. His crew was disintegrated within ten minutes, and he went for the door. The thing was, he had locked it beforehand. That backfired. We all charged at him and took turns taking him down. Rhydian went first, stabbing him in the shoulder. Then it was Kai, slicing his side. Simon went next, stabbing the monster with his sword. Then it was my turn. I flicked my whip, and it curled around his neck, leaving a bleeding cut all the way around. Rhydian went again, stabbing him in the heart. He froze and collapsed into dust.  "That was a little too easy," Simon breathed. We all nodded in agreement. Then, the door burst open.
