"NO!" Jimmy retorts to Charles.
Charles simple says "There's nothing waiting for me outside, most of my life was spent in this death trap, I am old, what's the point of going now?"
We both remain quiet.
Jimmy breaks the silence by saying, "How could I let the man who treated me like a son, who gave me hope about breaking out of this place, slip out of my hands and just witness him die?"
That's when the idea struck me.
"Okay, I have an idea." I say with utter glee.
"What's your idea, Einstein?" Jimmy replies.
"Silvia said we had to give a life, right?" I say enthusiastically
"Yeah, we've established that." Jimmy says
"But, she didn't specifically say it had to be one of ours, it could be an animal; like a deer." I say with a hint of pride lingering in my voice.
Jimmy came towards me. His hands around me and gave me a quick -still magical- kiss.
"You're pretty AND smart! How did I get lucky enough to meet you?" Jimmy exclaims.
With that said, we went hunting.
