Holly
It was near the end of the concert. I went back stage with my friends like we were allowed to go. I had a pass to head back there. I could hear the crowd chant their names. My boyfriend was going to be heading all the way over to Europe with his band. For the summer. I was pretty heartbroken. But he promised me we would always be together. The crowd rushed past us. My friends and I braced ourselves against the walls back stage. They were soon coming. The crowd was there already. I hear cheering.
"Joey!" I call out in the crowd to my boyfriend. He could not hear me over the noise. My heart beats faster.
"Joey!" I call out again. He did not even see us. He smiles at the crowd as he heads in a dressing room with his buddies.
"Go to him" my friend Natalie tells me. I nod.
"I will be right back" I promise her. This was going to be the last time I was going to get to see Joey before he left. I had to say good-bye. And tell him how much I was going to miss him.
I made my way to his dressing room. I open the door. I hear noises. I look around for him. I did not see him at his chair by the mirror. I soon see a couple making out on the couch. It was not any couple. It was Joey and some girl who had gotten back stage with him.
"Joey!" I snap angrily. I pull the girl off him. She was around my age. "Joey what are you doing?" I demand.
"Having a little fun sweetheart" he laughs.
"Joey this is not you. Why are you doing this?" I demand to know.
"How do you know? This girl was waiting here in my dressing room is all" he tells me.
"Joey don't do this. We will make it. You promised me you would wait for me remember?" I beg of him.
"Wait for you? We are not adults Holly. Look what we had sure was fun while it lasted. But things change" he points out. I felt very confused.
"Joey....what are you talking about? The other night you wanted me to wait for you. That we would write each other everyday....now..."
"Look I will say a lot of things to get what I want baby" he laughs. What was going on??
"Joey you don't mean this" I stammer.
"Holly, we are done okay? What we had was special for a moment. It is done now. Understand?" he demands to me sternly.
"Joey..." I stammer.
"Holly you need to leave before I make them take you out of here" he demands.
Something was off. I was not sure what was going on here.
"Joey" I sob. Tears come to me. He looks at me sadly.
"Get out of here" he replies. I nod. I head out of the dressing room. Tears come over me.
"Whoa there" says Jordan Knight. "Holly, what is wrong?"
"Nothing" I stammer.
"Joey is in the dressing room in the back" he tells me.
"I know. I have to go" I stammer.
"Holly why are you crying?" he worries over me.
"Never mind. I need to go" I sniff. Jordan pulls me close to him.
"What happened now?" he demands to know.
"He broke up with me. I don't understand why" I sniff.
"Joey is handling a lot right now. Wait around. He might change his mind" Jordan tells me as he holds me close. "He is a fool to give you up if he does" Jordan tells me. He pulls me back. He looks into my eyes. He smiles sadly. He takes his fingers and brushes away my tears. Before I knew what was happening he kisses me....
