Chapter 13 • Love Never Ended!

I could hardly wait for the concert to end that night on the ship. I was so nervous. I never had done this before in my life. Then it happened to me....my period came. Out of all the days! I knew I had been feeling a bit sick. I figured it was because I get sea sick sometimes. You know? But no on the night the one night Joey and I planned to be romantic together I was sick on my period.

"Something wrong Holly?" Jenny asks me when we waited for our men back stage.

"I got my period" I groan.

"Need a tampon?" she asks me. I shake my head.

"No that is not the issue. Joey and I were planning a romantic night tonight. I can't do a thing tonight" I sigh.

"Oh that sucks" sighs Jenny.

"I feel awful. I hurt all over. I want to go to my room. Take a bubble bath..."

"Then do it" Jenny tells me.

"I don't want to leave Joe" I worry.

"I will tell him you are back in the room" says Jenny.

"Jordan might need me" I worry.

"He is a grown man he can get a bottle of water on his own" Jenny laughs as she shakes her head.

"Alright then. Twist my arm then. I will be in my room okay girl?" I tell her. She nods. She hugs me.

"Feel better chick" she says as I rush back to my room. I was feeling like crap. My stomach hurt. I felt bloated. All I wanted to do was lay in bed. I soon got my wish. I ran myself a bubble bath when I got back to my room. I enjoy a little TLC for myself.

I order take in food.

Soo there is a knock on my door.

"Who is there?" I call out.

"Jordan? I am on break. For a few moments. Jenny said you are sick. Are you okay?" he worries. "Let me in" he begs me.

"Come on in. It is open" I sigh. He comes in.

"Well hello there Holly" he jokes when he spots me in the tub. I had enough bubbles covering me he could not see a thing.

"You better go before Joey finds you in here" I warn him.

"Oh I am not scared of Joey" laughs Jordan.

"I am fine. I am a little under the weather" I tell Jordan.

"What is wrong?" he wonders. "Jenny would not tell me what was going on"

I really did not want to tell my boss I was having my period.

"Jordan I just am sick okay..." I stammer.

"Let me feel your forehead. Check you out" he worries.

"JORDAN!" I laugh.

"Tell me then what is wrong I will leave. Or I will call the ship doctor in to check you" he warns.

"I am on my...."I mutter so fast he could not hear me.

"You are on what?" Jordan asks me.

"ON MY PERIOD! Okay? I am on my period!" I yell.

"Oh! OH okay. Feel better real soon Holly" he laughs as his face turns red. He leaves the room. I sigh as I sink back into my bubble bath. Men. Say the P word they disappear fast.

I enjoy my glass of wine and my bath. I change into sweatpants and one of Joey's shirts. One he wore. A tee shirt. It smelled like him. I lay on the bed. It was a little larger than me. I snuggle in his shirt. Smelling it like a big dork. I lay in the comfort of my soft bed. I turn on soft music. Turn off the lights. That was a little better now...

"Holly? Are you alright?" I hear Joey come in to check on me now.

"What about the concert Joey?" I sigh.

"It is over with" Joey tells me as he turns on a light in our room. "Holly are you sick?" he worries over me. He sits on the bed after taking off his watch from his wrist. He checks my forehead with is hand.

"Kind of" I sigh.

"Kind of?" he worries.

"I am....I am...on my..."I mutter again.

"What was that?" Joey asks me.

"My period. I got it today" I grumble.

"Oh poor kid" he says softly. He rubs my back for me. Oh that felt so good. He pulls me in his arms. Letting me rest in his lap. "Well there goes our night huh?" he laughs.

"We have so much time ahead" I promise him. I take his other hand in mine. I link our fingers together.

"That we do Holly. We sure do" agrees Joey.

"Room service" someone calls out from behind the door. Joey gets up to get it for me.

"I ordered goodies" I tell him.

"I see" Joey says to me with a grin. He pays for my meal. He wheels it to me. Taking care of me like a sweetheart.

"All the things a girl needs huh? Cheeseburgers. Fries. Chocolate covered strawberries" he laughs.

"Yup" I giggle as I snitch a fry and pop it in my mouth.

"Milkshakes?" he laughs when he sees what else I ordered.

"Anything with chocolate sounded good right now" I tell him with a giggle. I take a fry and dip it in my malt then eat it. "Mmmm" I giggle. Joey makes a face.

"Ew" he laughs.

"Try it. So good" I promise him. I make him one. He tries it.

"Not to bad" he agrees. I giggle. He leans in and kisses me. Making my heart soar happily for him.

"I love you baby. I hope you feel better soon" he whispers softly after our sweet kiss.

"I love you to babe" I vow. He kisses me again.

"Well I waited this long. I can wait again" he groans as he undoes his shirt.

"It will be worth the wait" I promise him. He kisses me.

"That is for sure doll" he agrees.
