The next morning, I woke up around 7 to footstep noises just outside our rooms. I got up out of bed. "Kyler? You're awake?" Amy leaned up and asked, with her eyes still half-closed.

"Yeah. It's okay Amy, you can go back to sleep," I said. Amy and Alexis stayed over last night because of the disaster events of yesterday night.

She mumbled something I couldn't hear and flopped back onto the pillow.

I tiptoed over to my door and opened it. The first thing I see is Seth and Jared down the hallway. I rubbed my eyes to make sure I wasn't still sleeping or imagining things as I walked over to them.

"Please Kyler-" Seth started to say and then I kicked him hard in the groin area. "Ow!" He exclaimed, doubling over in pain.

"What's going on?" Amy asked as she opened the door. She gave him one of the worst glares I've ever seen and then she ran full speeding while yelling, "Ah!" and then before I knew it, she tackled Seth to the ground.

"Kyler, just listen to him!" Jared exclaimed over Amy and Seth yelling.

"What are you talking about?" I gave him a bewildered look. Why is my little brother on my cheating ex-boyfriends side?

"Please just hear him out! Amy is attacking him! Get her to stop!"

"Everyone stop!" I yelled as loud as I could. Amy quickly got off of Seth and stood up. I turned to Seth. "What do you want to say?"

"Addison set me up," Seth said. "Here's what happened, she came up to me at the party and she looked really sad. I asked her what was wrong and she said she wanted to tell me something in private and that it was an emergency, so we decided going in the basement was a good idea. She was explaining to me how one of her relatives was in the hospital and that she didn't know she could make it and as soon as the basement door opened, she grabbed me and started making out with me. I was so shocked and stunned. I was going to stop it of course. It just happened to be weird timing."

I gave him a confused look. "So why did I get a text from you that said meet me in the basement?"

"Oh she told me she needed to text some family member from my phone since she didn't have hers, which of course turned out to be a lie."

"It's true," Jared spoke up. "I was in the basement the whole time and I heard all of it. You've got to believe him, Ky."

I took a deep breath and sighed. "I do." I wrapped my arms around Seth, giving him a hug.

"Kyler, I would never hurt you like that," Seth said. "I'm so sorry."

"You don't need to apologize. In fact, I should be the one apologizing. I'm sorry I thought you cheated on me. What was I thinking? You're one of the nicest people I know."

"It did look bad. If the same thing happened to me, I'd be pissed too." He paused. "So are we good?"

"We're good." We kissed each other.

Amy's eyes widened and her face flushed. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry for attacking you Seth. I feel so embarrassed..." she said.

Seth chuckled. "It's okay Amy. I'm glad you're protective over Kyler. You're a true friend to her."

"And I'm sorry for kicking you in the balls," I said sheepishly.

"It's fine." He chuckled again.

"What's with all this talking?" Dylan said as he came out of his room. He saw Seth and glared.

"Everything is fine Dylan, it's just a misunderstanding!" I exclaimed, before Dylan could punch Seth again.

"What kind of misunderstanding? Seth and Addison made out-"

Seth interrupted him and re-explained the entire situation all over again. "Wow...that's so messed up," Dylan said while scratching his head. "She's a terrible person."

"Yeah she is," Seth said. He turned to me. "I'm going to cut off all ties with Addison. You don't deserve being bullied by her like that and we don't deserve having our relationship sabotaged."

"Who's hungry?"

"Me!" The four of us exclaimed, well five, since Alexis walked in the hallway as we said that. We went to the kitchen and explained what really happened yesterday night.

"Wow that's very desperate," Alexis said, taking a bite of bacon.

"Sure is," I said. "Well I'm glad that's behind us now and that me and Seth are together again."

A half an hour later, Clarissa went downstairs to the kitchen. "What the hell is that cheating douchebag doing here?" Clarissa asked, glaring at Seth. Seth sighed and re-explained the situation for the third time. "Really? I was wondering why Addison was acting really weird lately. I knew she wanted to get back with Seth but had no idea she was being mean to Kyler. I thought that after they dated, that Addison backed away, but I guess I was wrong on that." She turned to me. "I'm so sorry, this is all my fault. If I just knew, I could have simply stopped her from sabotaging your relationship."

"It's not your fault," I said. "You didn't know she was purposely messing with me."

"I thought she was dating Cody..."

"We knew she was just using him to try making me and Seth jealous."

"Did he know?"

I shrugged. "I have no clue."

"Wow..." She paused. "Don't you worry; she's not hanging out with me ever again. She's thrown out of my clique."

"You don't have to do that..."

"I know but I want to. You're my sister and no friend of mine messes with family."

I smiled. "Aw."

"Hey, we should all do something," Dylan piped up. "Let's go to the park and hang out."

"All of us?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yup." He smiled. Even though he can be the most annoying person on the planet, he can also be sweet and nice at times.

"That sounds like fun," Amy said. "Let's do it!"

We quickly finished up breakfast, woke up Madeline and got her ready, got ourselves ready, and then went to the park.

A/N: So it turned out to be a misunderstanding. Originally, I was going to write that Melody will make out with Jason in the basement and that Clarissa would have caught them, but I decided I wanted Melody to remain a good person and that drama should focus more on Kyler, rather than Clarissa. It made more sense that it was Addison and Seth.
