{Song in video: Goo Goo Dolls - Iris}
*5 years later*
"Oh my God, where is my white veil?!" I cried out, almost panicking. Today is the day of my wedding with Seth Walker. In just under an hour, I will be Mrs. Kyler Walker. Me and Seth stayed together all these years, it was really difficult but we managed to do it. I guess that's what you call true love. There were some days, even weeks, that would go by without us talking to each other because of how busy our lives had become, but we still got through it. Seth had proposed to me on his graduation day at UF, back about 7 months ago. It was in front of everybody and it was great. I was in complete shock and of course I said yes.
"Calm down, Ky, it's right here!" Clarissa exclaimed, handing it to me. She was my maid of honor and wearing a long royal blue dress. The bridesmaids, Amy, Alexis, and Madeline, were wearing shorter royal blue dresses.
"Oh okay, whew."I took a few deep breaths and exhaled, puttingthe veil on my head. I looked in the mirror and smiled at how great I looked. My white dress was strapless and simple yet elegant. I had my hair in an updoand had a silver necklace on. I can't believe I'm about to get married! I always dreamed of this since I was a little girl! Well except the white wedding dress part...I pictured it more as me wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and converse, but this is a special day and I wanted to look special for my soon-to-be husband.
"Ready Kyler?" Alexis asked me, grinning.
I nodded my head. "Yes."
We walked out of the room and got in the line order with the best man, groomsmen, and my dad. "You look beautiful, Kyler," my dad said to me, smiling.
"Thanks," I said, smiling back at him.
I heard the wedding theme song starting to play and everyone walked with each other in order. I took a deep breath and exhaled as me and my dad walked down the aisle. I looked around and saw my mom tearing up from happiness. I quickly looked away and blinked back tears of my own. I stopped when I got to my spot and looked over at Seth, who was slightly tearing up. Here it comes. One tear fell out of my eye but I managed to stop before more came out.
Seth's grandpa was the person giving the wedding speech. After the speech, he said, "Seth Walker, do you take Kyler Kennedy to be your wedded wife?"
Seth gazed into my eyes and smiled. "I do," he said.
Seth's grandpa turned to me. "And do you, Kyler Kennedy, take Seth Walker to be your wedded husband?" he said.
I grinned as I said, "I do."
He looked at Seth. "I now pronounce you as husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." We gave each other a kiss.
The next few minutes were a blur. We went outside took pictures of us, family, and friends. Before I knew it, we were already going to the reception.
Seth opened the door and held my hand as we walked in the building. "I can't believe it! I'm freakin' married!" I couldn't help but exclaim.
Seth burst out laughing. "I can hardly believe it either but I'm so glad we are," he said, turning to me and grinning.
"You two are so great together! I knew this would happen!" Alexis exclaimed, giving both of us a hug.
"I remember when they both babysat me together and pretended to be husband and wife," Madeline said as she passed by. "That's how I knew it was going to happen." We laughed.
Cayden went up to Alexis. "Hey...you look great in that bridesmaid dress," he said to her shyly.
"Thanks..." Alexis said and grinned. "You look great yourself."
"So how have you been?"
"I've been well."
Before I could hear any more of their conversation, Seth led me inside the building and we sat down at our table.
"Everything is perfect," I said to Seth.
"It is," Seth agreed, staring at the place in awe.
After everyone else got here and sat down and ate, me and my dad went to the dance floor to do the father and daughter dance. "It's For My Dad" by Nancy Sinatra played. We both cried a little while we were dancing. The lyrics were so beautiful and touching. After the song was done, Seth and his mom went to the dance floor and danced along to "Thank You Mom" by Good Charlotte. I grinned while they danced since Good Charlotte was one of my favorite bands. That song was absolutely perfect for them.
It was me and Seth's turn to dance together. He took my hand as we walked over to the dance floor. "Iris" by Goo Goo Dolls played. "This is one of the best songs ever," I said to him, smiling.
"I know," Seth said, gazing into my eyes. "It's one of my favorites too."
When we stopped dancing, we went back to our table. I looked around, noticing Clarissa and Jason talking to each other, Dylan and Amy were sitting together; she rested her head on his shoulder, Cayden and Alexis were on the dance floor, Jared and Madeline were talking to my parents, and Addison, Melody, Luke, and Yasmin were having fun on the dance floor.
As the night went on, I knew at this moment that life couldn't get any better than this. I was going to spend the rest of my life with Seth Allan Walker.
