"HI PETER!" A little girl about 5 years old jumped at Peter. He picked her up and hugged her as she giggled.

I awkwardly stood by the door as Peter sat in a chair with the little girl in his lap. Three other boys around 12 and a girl about 10 were sleeping with a grown man on the couch. I looked around the inside. It was weird.

They all seemed so happy, so overjoyed and loving life. They didn't have a big TV, or phones for each person or luxuries that I took for granted. All they had was each other, and that was all they needed.

"What's up with you, looking all deep and shit" Peter asked me, making me look at him. Him mom swatted his head.

"Ow!" He said, rubbing the back of his head.

"Your sister!" She chastised. I could imagine her with a spray bottle, blasting him with holy water. Wipe away those dirty thoughts.

"And who are you?" I leaned down and asked the girl softly. She looked at her mother, who nodded, and turned back to me.

"Mila" she said sheepishly.

"Hi Mila. I'm Octavia" I said soothingly as she began to warm up to me.

"Do you like to sing?" She said eagerly. I nodded. She squealed and grabbed my hand and pulled me to the edge of my room. She climbed into bed with lavender blanket.

"Do you know Arms by Christina Perri?"

"Wow that's quite an old song. But yeah" I poked her stomach playfully "I know it"

"Can you sing it please?" She asked pleadingly.

"Oh, alright. But I'm not very good" I smiled at her but she still waited eagerly.
