I was an ocean for you to dissolve your troubles in,
I was the woods for you to hide in,
I was your shelter while the thunder hit,
I breathed you life,
I lived for your existence.
I was your way out of the labyrinth
I was your wings,
I made you fly.
but you took me for granted.
Once i fixed up your heart with pieces of my own,
you gave it to someone else.
You flew off into the direction of the sun,
for she gave you light,
and like Icarus you fell,
calling out my name, begging,
you were helpless.
Though I loved you with all I had,
I let you drown.
Caz I refused to reduce myself
to the worth of something you could just toss away when it lacks use.
