most of us are high on sadness,
we feel like outsiders trapped in a body when someone makes us laugh,
maybe that is why we get attached to them,
we imprint on them,
we hold on to them for dear life
most of us have grown not to trust,
because it's been lost more than once,
so with our hearts full of rage,
and eyes full of tears,
we pledge to not let someone in
we build walls, and we cave in
we are all a little lost don't you think?
most of us are trying to move on,
with the chains of our past holding us down,
but heartbreak is inevitable,
most of us have had it happen to us more than once,
or even if for once,
your body has never been the same
but you got to face your demons,
you've got to be stronger than them,
you have to be your own savior
