I hope you like dark and stormy skies,
I hope you don't curse at the sky when it rains on your way to work,
I hope you know how to swim to the shore in the strong tides that try to drown you,
I hope you love thunderstorms and hurricanes,
Beacause darling I am all of this madness made into flesh and bones,
And I hope you won't run when you see that
I hope you will hold me on days when my tears form a river beneath our feet,
I hope you will keep us together when we are tearing at the seams
I hope you will kiss my lips when it's trembling with fear,
I hope you will be the oxygen when I'm suffocating with anxiety,
I hope you won't see me as only a raging sea,
I hope you won't take a part of me if you leave,
And most of all I hope that hope is never lost even if I am
