Alfred Jones' POVI woke up in a dark place. My vision was blurry. I tried to adjust my eyes but I couldn't. Then I realized, my glassed are missing!
I shot up and started feeling around for them. My hand touched a skinny, but long thing. Yes! Here they are!
I put on my glasses. I could now clearly make out that the room was kind of like a class room. It was very old and tattered up. The air was cold.
"Sweet. Cool. Am I in some cheesy TV show? Like one of those 80's ones?" I asked out loud. No answer came. I then tried looking for the cameras. Nothing either.
"Okay, okay, that's cool. Maybe it's not my turn in the spot light just yet. I'll just wait here for my cue," I sat down and waited. I started getting bored, but I felt safe in where I was.
Okay, let's back this up. So I don't even know why I'm here, but let's try to see how I got here. Hmmm.... I was with my friends performing Arthur's lame charm. Then the ground shook and we fell. Nope! That makes no sense at all! I tried thinking this through but nothing made sense.
A weird thing appeared. It was this blue-floaty thing. It was so bright, so I tried moving close to it.
"Hello... What are you?" I asked it.
"I am the soul... Of a girl who died here... Not long ago," the thing seemed to have a female voice.
"Sweet! Okay, this technology is totes amaze! No more special effects! Holograms are so in, dude! And this must be the sappy part in the show where I meet you and fall in love with you, then save the day, right? I'm the hero!" I yelled happily.
"I'm afraid this is not a movie. I am real...." She spoke. I was confused.
"Huh?"
"You are not at home, or on set at a movie. You are at the spirit of a demolished school. You were brought here by other spirits. Ones that are seeking for vengeance," She explained.
"That's... Kinda hard to believe... You're kidding, right?"
"No. See for yourself. Follow me..." She started moving to an old newspaper on the floor. I read it. What I read was hard to believe.
"This can't be real! If this school was demolished, the how the hell am I here?!" I yelled as I dropped the newspaper. I took a deep breath. "Okay, let me get this straight, if you're a spirit, then why are you telling me this? Shouldn't you be evil too?"
"No... I am not. I'm simply a girl who died here. My body is on the 1st floor. I wish to help people escape. Because I do not want them to suffer from what I had to..."
"But if you're a dead person's soul, shouldn't you be in heaven or something?"
"Silly.... If you die here... You are stuck here for eternity. And when you die... Your soul will forever feel the pain of your death... No heaven, no anything... Just eternal suffering.... Oh, why did I have to die that way! It hurts! It hurts so much!"
"What? So if I die, I will forever feel the pain I felt when dying?"
"Yes. And you will be here forever. For example, my legs were amputated by a ghost, then I was stabbed to death. I died from bleeding to death. I can still feel what it felt like..."
