Lukas Bondevik's POVI lay on the floor. I knew that my side was broken, that being my left arm and leg. I couldn't move. I just watched as Gilbert Beilshmidt got thrown across the room.
Those ghost girls threw Gilbert so hard, he crashed onto the wall with a scream, followed by a pool of blood. He splattered everywhere. Everything was covered in blood.
"NOOOO!" I yelled. The two spirits turned around to face me. They made their way towards me.
"Please stop!" I begged. They didn't care. I closed my eyes and prayed. I started sobbing too. Everything's gonna be okay. Hang in there.
"Lu.....kas...." A voice struggled at choking out my name. I looked up and saw Gilbert's torn body reaching out for me. "R...u...n."
I couldn't move. I was stuck in that place. I started crying even louder. My tears felt like a shower down my eyes. They burned. They felt unnatural. I wanted it to stop.
I moved my hand in the direction of Gilbert. It wouldn't do much, but I wanted to try. I needed to save him, even though deep down I knew it was too late.
The ground shook violently. I yelped in pain. Gilbert's body fell from his sitting position, and made an even bigger splatter. I screamed.
"STOP! JUST STOP ALREADY!" I yelled. The ground quaked even harder. Glass was shattering all around me. I was going to die.
I closed my eyes tightly, and listened to the crashing around me. I had seen two of my friends die. And I had broken all my limbs on my left side of my body. I was a goner for sure.
My cries got more intense. It just wouldn't stop.
"Please let me die. I just want to die right now." I begged quietly. I cried loudly. I could probably be heard from all around the school. I wanted Mathias with me. This was the end for me.....
"Lukas!" A voice called my name. I turned my head slowly to see who it was. My vision was blurry, but I could make out a body struggling to run to me, with spiky hair.
"I'm dreaming. I'm already hallucinating. This means I will die in a few minutes..." I muttered.
I watched as the figure dodged every falling object, and didn't give up trying to reach me. I could see above a big chunk of floorboard, threatening to fall on me. I gave a small whimper.
Last thing I remembered was two arms scooping me up, with my side stinging, and then my vision blurring out.

I opened my eyes to find a very pleasing surprise.
Home. I was back home!
I looked around to see where I really was. This was home alright. I was in my bed, with a cast around my left arm and leg.
A small smile spread across my face. This was great. I was so happy.
Someone came into my room. I was even more happy to see who it was.
