Arthur Kirkland's POVIt really sucked being stuck with that frog. He never listened to me. And you know what the worst part is about him? That even in times of danger, such as now, he's was still laughing and smiling.
I coughed a bit. The day before today, I was starting to develop a cold or fever. I was glad that today was the last day of school, but I had never seen this coming.
"I have a plan. Let's try to unlock the rooms we haven't unlocked, and we should also try to gather information on escaping this place. We should probably look around for more ghost-things," I suggested.
"And let's try to find out about traveling from space to space too," Lukas said.
"But the ghost-thing said that was impossible," I said.
"Doesn't matter. All we have to do is find a way to use magic. And let's not split up," he said at last.
We went to explore what was in the bathrooms. What we found was extremely disturbing and sad. There were dead corpses hanging from the ceiling with a noose around their necks in each stall.
"What do you zhink happened here?" Francis asked.
"Suicide." I answered.
"This place really looks like the type of place you could go insane from being in." Francis said.
"No. Really?" I replied sarcastically. Shortly after, I fell to my knees.
"M-mon dieu! Arthur! Are you alright?" Francis asked in shock.
"Y-yes.... I'm f-fine! I have a headache and a stomachache though!" I said as I clutched my stomach with one hand and my head with the other. Lukas stared emotionlessly as ever. Francis kneeled beside me and touched my forehead.
"Ma cherie, you have a fever!" He said. I remember now! That's why I was so glad school was over!

I was so happy school would come to an end. I was starting do develop a mild fever. Of course, Francis took it very seriously. Did it help? No.
"You know what zhe good thing is, the day after tomorrow, you get to stay home all day and rest!" Francis said as he put a cold towel over my forehead.
"But you know what the bad thing is? That I won't have a frog to be my slave and cook soup for me," I said. Francis laughed and kissed my cheek.
"I'm really gonna miss you when I leave," he said as he turned my face around so I looked at him straight.
"Hmmm. You do realize you're taking my fever waaaay too seriously," I pointed out. "It's just a tiny one, no reason to panic,"
"I know, but I still want you to come to school tomorrow,"
"Yeah.... Okay," he put his arms around me and held me for a while. His arms were warm and comforting. Such a shame that I wouldn't be able to feel this for a while.
"From the day I met you.... I wanted to kiss you and slap you," he said.
"From the day I met you, I wanted to slap you," I replied. Francis gave me a quick kiss on my neck and stood up.
"I will go take a shower. If you need anything, just call for me. 'Kay?" He said with a smile.
"Yep. Thank you,"
