I got home and my parents ran to the door. I motioned for everyone to come in and they did. My parents came in for a hug and I saw my dads eyes move to Alana, Zack, and then he stared at Austin with a surprised look.

"Who are they?"
"This is Zack and Austin, they rescued us."
"Us?" My parents asked in unison."
"Ya, this is Alana, I wouldn't have escaped without her. We were both," I paused not wanted to give to much away, "Kidnapped, but we don't know who by. When I woke up she was still asleep and we were tied up in the middle of no where."

I looked behind me to see Alana giving me the 'what are you talking about?' look. I told my parents I wanted to go to my room because I was tired and they let everyone sleep over.

"Why did you lie to you parents?"
"Well, ya see-" I was cut off by Austin, "They don't know she has powers."
"WHY!" She yelled why louder than needed, "I mean, why?"
"I'm adopted and that's not exactly what your parents want to hear,'oh the random girl who lives with you has powers'" I said mocking myself from the other day.
"We're you ever going to?"
"I never really thought about it-" I yawned and so did Zack, "let's talk tomorrow, good night everyone."
"Good night," they all said in unison.

-Josh's POV-
Sam finally texted me, she says she was kidnapped, but escaped and can't wait to see me tomorrow. SHE WAS JUST KIDNAPPED AND IS ACTING LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED! I don't want anything like this to happen again, I'm setting some rules tomorrow.

-Sam's POV-
I woke up to my alarm playing 'when will my life begin' from tangled, don't judge, it's the perfect morning song, and I LOVE Disney. I woke everyone else up, except Alana, she's staying home. We got ready ate breakfast and went to the bus stop. We didn't really talk, I guess we didn't know what to say. I got to school and josh was waiting at the door. He ran to me giving me a hug while he picked me up and spun me around, then pulling me back into a hug on the ground.

"I was so worried about you."
"I kinda guessed because of the 40 missed calls." I said jokingly
"You shouldn't be joking about this you could have died."
"I'm fine, and I don't want to let it ruin my life."
Josh signed in defeat, "do you want to come over after school?"
"Um.... sure, I'd love to. Meet me in the cafeteria?"
"Ok sounds good, I have to get to class, see you at lunch," he kissed me and left.

All day, I felt like I just saw a murder and everyone knew. SO. MANY. QUESTIONS!
'What happened, how'd you escape, who's Alana, I heard Zack and that new kid save you, did you almost die, hid it happen, blah blah blah...' School finally ended. It felt like when you've been walking forever and you finally sit down and cover up with a warm blanket. I went to the cafeteria to wait for Josh.

"Hey Sam."
"Hi, are you ready?"
"Yep, let's go."

We walked to his house. His family's rich so he lives in a mansion. Right as you walk in there is a nice open area. Wood floors, white painted walls. If you walk forward, to your right is a kitchen, and to the left is a tv room. Upstairs has his room, his brothers room, his sisters room, then his parents room. That's on the right, on the left is a play room with toys for his siblings. Then further down is a movie theater. In the basement is an indoor basket ball court, indoor golf, and indoor tennis, like with sand. Then, the video game room. Huge screen and surround sound. I skipped some rooms for their privacy and it doesn't really matter. He got us some drinks and we went outside by their pool. It was like at the YMCA.

"So, I wanted to have you over because I'm worried about you." Josh said breaking the silence.
"Why?"
"You always walk into danger. Wether you know it or not."
"Soooooooo...."
"I think I need to set some ground rules."
"What do you mean 'rules'?"
"To keep you safe, and me with you at all times."
"You can't control me."
"Just hear me out."
"Fine, amuse me."
"Number one, I walk you to every class in schools. Two, you ALWAYS sit with me at lunch. Three, you ALWAYS walk you home. Four, whenever you have a text or call around me, I get to see or hear. Five, the only time your out of my site is at home, so if you ever go out, I want to know. And six, I get to put a tracker on your phone."
"Woah woah woah. You are acting like a VERY overprotective parent. You can't just set rules to control my whole life."
"I'm doing it to protect you."
"I'm not letting you do all of this. Your NOT MY PARENTS, SO DON'T ACT LIKE IT."
"No, I'm not. I'm better because I can protect you."
"No way." I got up, grabbed my stuff and started walking toward the door.
"Stop." I kept walking, "I said to STOP!" He grabbed my arm and spun me around. "Listen to me when I'm talking to you."
"Oh shut up already." Then... You won't believer this, he slapped me.

Slapped me, ya.

"Don't argue with me."
"We're through, Josh. Don't call, text, talk, or even look at me." I rubbed the side of my face and started walking away. Then, I turned back and hit his face with my purse.
"And, ya, I do like Austin."
