-Anna's POV-
We got back home and brought Victoria (sam's mom) and Alana to the basement. I have to be honest I feel bad for them. I would have ran away myself, but I'm to scared. I hate Tremble and the other kids. If they knew what I knew, they'd hate tremble, too. The reason I hate them is because they act like they're better than everyone. Ya see, I was sneaking around Dr. Trembles office and his computer was on. It showed all his plans, research, stuff like that. I stated reading stuff. He was planning on making an army of people like us. Then, brainwash everyone to think they belonged to him. We (power kids) would no longer be special. I need to help Alana and Victoria escape. With me this time.-Sam's POV-
AHHHHHH! Austin loves me, too. I don't know what to do though. We just told each other that we loved each other, now it's really quiet. Well, except for Zacks loud crunching of chips. Austin started playing with my hair. It felt so good, I was so relaxed.
"Sorry to break up the moment, but we need to get Alana and your mom back." Zack said, honestly, he did ruin the moment."He's right." I replied, "any ideas?"
"Yes, but they're tracking us, just like we are."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I put a tracker on a guard. I can hear, and see what they're doing, and where they're going."
"Wow, cool. So what's the plan?"
"Do you have a hidden storm cellar?"
"Sure do."
"Good. Austin and I will be working on something. You shut off all lights, get food and water and mabe some pillows and blankets. We may be down there a while."
"Ok, sounds good."I went and did what Zack said while they worked on something. Then, it's so cliché, it started storming. The house wasn't completely dark, a grayish I guess, but with the Lightning, it was bright at points. I went back downstairs to see what they were doing.
"Austin, come on, you and Zack need to hurry." I whispered
"We're almost done, just go make sure all the doors are locked."
"Ok, but you better be done by the time I'm back."I checked all the doors and windows. One window was all I needed to drag Austin and Zack in the cellar wether they were done or not.
"Guys they have guns and ropes. They have helmets so our powers won't effect them. And they're carrying boxes, I heard them say it will drain our powers."
"Ok, We're done lift up the carpet and open the cellar door for me."I went over and did what he said. Then once they were down I put the carpet over the door and closed it. We were left in the dark.
"What were you doing anyways?" I asked
"We made a light that SHOULD last for at least a week, then we could stay down here for a while." Austin said as he turned it on.
"OPEN UP!" Nick, Austin and I heard at the door.
"They're here!"We heard the door nob being jimmied and talking. Then, it was quiet. Too quiet. All of a sudden you could hear a machine gun being fired, then footsteps. They were in my
house."So what's the plan?"
"Stay hidden until they're gone."
"What if they stay forever and we get caught. And, if we stay down here, how will we get Alana and my mom back?"
"She has a point." Austin said turning to Zack.
"So, what should we do?"
"Let's wait an hour, if they're not gone, we go out."
"Won't they kill us?"
"Nope."
"What do you mean?"
"It's easy, just surrender."HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!🦃🍗
