Gonna say it right now.

I dislike subtitles.

But I don't have anything against them, I just don't like them.

So if I'm gonna watch anime, there better be a dubbed version, otherwise I won't watch it.

I like being able to hear English, other wise, even with subtitles, I won't understand anything.

Also, I watch anime to watch it, not read subtitles.

"You're not a real anime fan if you don't like subtitles!"

I still watch the show, like the characters, feel the feelings and understand references

I still watch the show, like the characters, feel the feelings and understand references... how does that make me not a fan?

I prefer to hear things in the language I'm fluent in, because I understand things better, thank you.

Some people like subtitles because it has the translations.

Well, thats what they like, I'm not gonna yell at them because of it. If they wanna learn Japanese, then go ahead.

AND NOW, WE GET INTO HETALIA.

SUB VS DUB.

Okay, I LOVE dubbed Hetalia, because it's hilarious. So are the bloopers. CANADA SWEARS IT'S FUNNY. wait does he swear in sub i think he does. well he doesn't in dub so.

Anyways, there's also the accents.

In subbed, you don't get accents.

Sure, you get some words in the language that character speaks, like France and America, but in a Japanese accent.

Okay, maybe English dub is a little harder to keep up with, but it makes more sense to me than subbed.

Because if you have a few people talking at once, you get all these subtitles in your face and it confuses the hell outta me.

Whereas in dub, I can identify who's who by their voices, like how fast they're speaking and the accents.

AND I HAVE PROOF FOR HOW HILARIOUS DUB IS:

1) America: Stupid winter! I'm going to boycott you until you go away.
2) Narrator: The UN is like a beauty pageant for ugly people.
3) Alien Computer Thing From Paint It White: Britain; A former pirate, but now he's a deadpan snarker yet gentlemanly empire with lots of rain, France is a long time acquaintance, who he's found bickering with for bickery's sake, however, in their heart's of hearts, they love each other... sexually. [AND SUBBED JUST SAID THEY'RE FRIENDS WHO SECRETLY RESPECT EACH OTHER]
