Chapter 5

Mason's POV
I drove straight home after I dropped off Amy, she's definitely different, in a good way, she makes me happy, she makes me feel comfortable, she just something, I can not even explain it, She is definitely a positive person, she is someone you can not even be mad around, and I really need someone like that right now and my thoughts got lost once I pulled in my driveway, and walked in inside and found my brother in the living room watching TV
"Hey" I said walking the living and sitting down next to him
"Hey, where you been?" He asked with his eyebrow raise
"Me and Amy went and walked around" I said smiling at him
"Really you actually got the courage to ask her?" He said looking at me
"Yes, only hung out as friends tho, nothing more" I said and he looked disappointed
"When are you gong to ask her on a date?"
"Whoa I have no idea, I mean I just met her, I mean" I said while stuttering
"You are scared?" He asked
"Very" I admitted
"Why?" He asked with a weird look
"My past, I am scared she is going to leave me or want nothing to do with me if she knew who I actually was back in Texas" I said looking down
"You can't keep that from her, but just prove to her that youre not the same person" he said and I just nodded my head
"Already planning on it" I said and he just smiled
"Good" he said smiling
"I know you miss it there in Texas, but you're doing really good here, speaking of, My friends restaurant is hiring and they need waiters are you interested?" He said giving me a look
"Yeah I need the Money" I said smiling
"Alright then, I'm heading to bed, goodnight bub" he said walking up the stairs and I just laid on the couch and turned on some tv and slowly drifted off to sleep.
Amy's POV
I walked in the house quietly since it was about 10:00 at night, and I slowly walked up the stairs and went into my room and saw that Lisa was still awake and was on her phone
"Hey" I said
"Hey Ames" she said looking up "Did you have fun?" She asked smiling
"Yeah I did actually! He was more talkative and everything" I said happily
"Good that means he's warming up to you" she said smiling
"Yeah, he is such a gentlemen, he opened the door for me, walked me to the door and everything" i said and she smiled
"Good! That means I don't have to beat him up!" She said which caused me to laugh
"But there's something bugging him, like you can tell there is something on his mind, like something he hasn't told me yet" I said
"Well you could tell he's really shy earlier when he came to pick you up" she said and then came up and sit down next to me
"But, there could be something bugging him, but he probably not ready to say it yet, just give him time, he will come around" she said and I just smiled
"So do you like it him?" She asked raising his eyebrow
"He's definitely different" I said answering with a smile and she just put her hand on my back
"Be careful, I don't want to see you get hurt okay?" She said smiling and I smiled back
"No worries Lise" I said smiling and she smiled and patted my back and got up
"Well its getting late, and I'm going to bed, goodnight Ames, love you" she said as she crawled in her bed
"Night lise, love you too" I said and then after that Charles let out a loud meow which caused us both to laugh
"Goodnight Charles" we both said and my mind went straight to Mason, I am determined to get through to him. I want him to know he can trust me and then I slowly drifted to sleep.
