Chapter 14

*2 months later*
Mason's POV
Me and Amy has been dating for 2 months now and it has been incredible! I still get nervous around her family though, but I am getting there. Its a progress for me, and I'm so glad Amy knows that and speaking of, she's been busy the last few days because of the band so I called her
"Hello" I heard her voice on the other line
"Hey Amy, my brother is at work and I am bored, soo" I said
"You want me to come over?" She said laughing
"Yes!" I said laughing
"Okay, I'll be over, we literally just got done so your timing was perfect" she said and I just laughed
"See ya in a bit" I said and went and sprayed some cologne on and then the door knock and I answered
"Hi" I said opening the door for her
"Hey" she said all happy and bubbly and I just smiled and she walked away and she started to walk away and I just grabbed her wrist and turned towards me as I crashed my lips against hers, and our lips moved in sync and she pulled away and looked at me surprise
"What was that for?" She said
"I haven't kissed you in three days, my lips are starving" I said smiling and she got on her tip toes and peck my lips
"You need to be shorter, because I'm way to short" she said laughing and I just hugged her
"No you're perfect" I said as I grabbed her hand  and brought her into my kitchen and I had dinner waiting
"It smells good in here" she said
"Good, because its done!" I said laughing as I got some plates down
"What did you make" she asked
"Close your eyes" I said as I put some chicken stir fry on a spoon and fed it to her
"Now that's really good" she said surprised "Where did you learn how to cook?" She added
"I cooked for myself all the time in Texas, my mom and dad always worked late, so I basically knew how to cook since I was 10" I said while handing her a plate and she just gave me a look
"So you were by yourself all the time?" She asked giving me a sympathetic look
"For the most part, which is why it was easy to not get caught doing the stuff I did" I admitted and sit across from her and she gave a look because we don't really talk about my past that much
"It must be hard not having adults around" she said
"It was, because I didn't do much things as a kid, like riding bikes and stuff, instead I was home, doing chores and everything, but  I learned things at a young age because of it, I mean having to provide for yourself and stuff, but I always had my brother, and he was always playing sports and stuff, so he couldn't help that much, then he moved, that's when things got worse" I said and she gave me a look
"When you got arrested, what did you get arrested for?" She asked
"There was a guy that was new to our school there, and he was beating up my best friend, so I beat him up pretty bad he ended up in the hospital, so his family pressed charges and everything" I said and took a pause "but I can't say that I blame them for that, I lost my cool" I said looking at her and she just looked at me that she didn't know what to say
"I know what you're thinking, that I am just a bad person, and everything I should've known better" and she cut me off by walking toward me and pressed her lips against mine and pulled away
"Now what was that for?" I said laughing
"You're not a bad person, nobody is perfect, unlike most people, you're bettering yourself, everybody makes mistakes, and things that they are not proud of" she said and put her hands on my cheeks
"You are more then labels, okay? Like I said, I can't judge you on something that you are not proud of, what matters is the person you are now, and I think that is pretty great" she said smiling and I just kissed her forehead and pulled her in a hug
"You are incredible" I said
"I'm sorry you didn't have much of a childhood, and You never really had a relationship with your parents"  she said
"Don't be sorry, I am okay, but now I finally found something that makes me nothing but happy" I said
"What?" She said and then I lifted her chin up and looked at her
"You" I said and she just smiled I swear,
I think I am falling in love with this girl
