(A/N) READ MY NEW FILIPINO STORY PLEASE!!
Chapter 23:
“What do you want to be after we graduate?”
“A doctor, maybe? Or a fashion designer, an actress? Ugh! I don’t know. Haha” I say to him.
“Wow, you have a lot of dreams, young lady!”
“Well, I do! What about you? What do you want?”
“Same as your first one.” Ooohh! That’s great!
“Really? You know, great minds think alike!”
“Hahaha. Touché.” William says.
“Then we’ll go to Harvard Medical School!”
“Nah, I don’t like it there.”
William and I are here at a café, near the school. It’s past 12 o’clock and we’re having our lunch while talking about our so-called “dreams.”
It’s been three weeks already. Yeah, time has gone by so fast. William and I got along pretty well together with my best friends and other friends! Well, except for Asher, obviously. It’s also been three weeks. Not only that, it has also been three weeks of hell. It’s hard, alright? Damn hard! Sometimes we would come across with each other in the hallways, together with his girlfriend. The sad thing was he doesn’t even put an eye on me. From time to time, we’d be sitting on the same table and I would feel really awkward because some of them were only talking and the both of us chose not to. It hurts because he doesn’t even seem at least a bit affected by what happened to us. He would always show up like a cool guy who doesn’t know me or knows I’m existing, while on the other hand I would feel so down and hurt. Sometimes I wonder, did he really consider me as his best friend? Because if I were to answer, I would say no.
Well, he would always say that to me. He would say things like “Thank God I became your best friend” or something like that. I always feel touched, really. But right now, he’s showing the opposite which hurts me so much.
“Hey, when are they coming?” He snaps me back to reality.
“Uhm, I think they’re almost here.” We decided to go to the mall, together with Tanya and Stacy. No, actually they decided. They just forced me to come. They said that I need some time to relax and forget about things. They know that “shopping” is one of my ways to let go of my stress. Good friends they are, right?
“Hey guy and gal!” Here they are!
“Heeeyy!” William greets them.
“Yow!”
“Why are you late?” I question them.
“Hi to you too!”
“It’s Ms. Reynolds. She made us do a lot of things before she let us out!” Haha. Typical Ms. Reynolds.
“Can we order first before going? I’m kinda getting hungry!”
“Hurry up!” I say.
Well there. They made us wait for about thirty minutes more before deciding to head out. I want to go to a book store! I want to buy the new book that they’re talking about. Do you know “Endless Summer”? They say it’s a really good book and I want to try it!
“Where will you ride?” Stacy asks me as soon as we got out of the café. Before I could answer, William interrupts.
“She’s riding with me.” It’s fine with me.
