Infinite Fantasy [ON HOLD INDEFINITELY]

Level Up!

Fleeing down the long tunnel stretching ahead of them, the group ran as fast as possible to stay ahead of the beast that now persued them. Reaching another large expanse, this time with a floor, they hid behind a large rock.

"What is that thing?" Gareth asked. Timothy and Chibu were clueless, as was he. Faaren spoke up.

"I was hoping there wouldn't be one in this cave... It's a fearsome creature that many treasure hunters encounter and rarely survive to tell the tale.... The Gobbloblin!"

"Gobbloblin... A Gobbloblin?!" Gareth laughed, "How ridiculous is that? What is it? A big fat goblin?"

"Not, it is a terrifying beast that hunts down caves full of goblins, devours the inhabitants, and waits in the shadows for more. It has no discrepancies about adventurers either; we'll go down a treat!" Faaren wailed, flailing his arms dramatically.

"Then Timtimmy and Gareth bash!" Chibu chirped. Timothy and Gareth met eyes and both nodded simultaneously. Jumping from behind the rock, the looked up into the eyes of the Gobbloblin.

Around 12 feet tall, with razor-sharp teeth, large clawed hands, and huge horns on it's head, the monster closely resembled a stereotypical troll. As it growled at the pair, Timothy rushed forwards and ran circles around the beast. As the Gobbloblin's gaze followed Timothy's swift movements, Gareth aimed his staff and cast his Fire spell, the flaming ball hitting the giant in the stomach.

As the Gobbloblin doubled over in pain, Timothy jumped into the air and onto the beast's back, hacking away at it. When the creature stood to try and throw Timothy off its back, Gareth prepared to attack again.

This time, the end of his staff shot a stream of flames into the air, that spiralled around the feet of the Gobbloblin and built until it was surrounded by a fiery wall. Timothy leaped to safety, just before the wall closed in on the Gobbloblin and it burst into flames, falling to the ground.

Just as the burned corpse of the monster disintegrated into ground. Timothy and Gareth started to glow.

"Wha-what?" Gareth shouted, panicking as his body radiated with bright light.

"Hahaha! Yeah! I think we're levelling up!" Timothy laughed.
