Lou's POV
I stayed cradled in Harry's arms. The familiar scent providing me with a comfort which I hadn't felt for weeks. His strong arms were wrapped tightly around my chest, it didn't feel like he was about to let go anytime soon. His head rested in my neck, his breath tickling my collar bone as he repeated the phrase 'it's okay, i'm here now' over and over again, until my body stopped shaking from the experience of what had just happened. Harry slowly pulled away from me, and looked deep into my eyes. I'd missed seeing those beautiful eyes locked with mine, but something was different about them. His eyes reflected fear and pain with a slight glaze across them as if he was close to tears.
'Lou, Lou, I'm so sorry-' Harry began to apologize. My mind was too messed up right now to talk to him. As much as I loved him for saving me from the two guys, I was still angry at him for what he had done to me.
'Harry' I whispered 'Harry, could you please just take me home'.
Harry nodded, clearly hurt from the lack of forgiveness from me. He stood up and bent down again to help me off the floor, pulling me to face him. Once again he stared into my eyes, the corners of his mouth turning slightly into a smile for reassurance before frowning when I didn't return it. He put his arm under my knees and pulled me up into a bridal hold. I was too tired and emotional to resist and anyway I don't think I would've been able to walk all the way home without his help. The walk home was silent. No one knew what to say to each other and Harry was clearly lost in thought as his brows kept furrowing and he seemed to be on a completely different planet but he still managed to guide us home.
We arrived at my house in the early hours of the morning where Harry's car still sat. He carried me to my front door and placed me down onto my feet at the step.'I don't think it's a good idea that I come in after the confrontation I had with your sister earlier' Harry half laughed but you could tell that he didn't find it funny in the slightest.
'Goodnight Harry, thanks for helping me and bringing me home' I held his arm for a few seconds before turning and opening the door with my key. Harry twisted me back around and leaned in towards me to plant a kiss on my forehead. I dodged out of the way, shaking my head.
'Not now Harry please' I stepped into my house and as I closed the door Harry began to protest.'Lou, you know I'm so sorry and I will do anything to make you forgive me' he pleaded at me.
'I know Harry' I replied before shutting the door on him and quietly locking the door.I went into the kitchen where I could see Harry climbing back inside his black car and pulled away at a frightening speed. I prayed that he would go back to his flatt and wouldn't go awol again, I couldn't handle it. We needed to sort this out, I needed to know why he did it. Just not tonight.
I turned around to see Em standing behind me, her arms outstretched to pull me into a tight hug.'Are you okay?' She whispered into my hair, 'I tried to make him go away but he persisted on trying to find you'
'Its okay, I'm glad he found me' I replied, still wrapped in my sisters arms. 'I'm really tired, can we talk about this in the morning?' I looked up at my sister. You could tell she hadn't been to sleep and was clearly concerened about me and Harry.
'Yeah of course' She pecked the top of my head as I smiled back at her.
I climbed the stairs, ripped off my clothes and layed in my bed, replaying the events of that night.
Thank god Harry was there, otherwise who knows what could've happened, I thought. But its wrong of him to assume that everything is okay now.
Let's just say I didn't get a lot of sleep that night.
