I stayed at Harry's for the rest of the day. The morning sun was long gone, replaced by thick black clouds that produced a constant heavy flow of rain for the entire day. The drumming of the rain against the window was strangely comforting, the only sound coming from the house apart from our voices.
'Where are your parents?' I asked Harry.
'They still live in Cheshire' Harry replied, a slight change in his tone, 'we haven't exactly seen eye-to-eye in the past. I wasn't exactly their ideal child, put it that way' He softly chuckled. I could tell that his laughter wasn't genuine at all.
'What do you mean?' I pressed on the subject, knowing that it was probably quite sensitive and absolutely none of my business whatsoever.
'I was the teenager from hell. Always going out and not coming home, getting exluded from school, that kind of thing really' he explained. 'In the end I packed my bags and ended up in London, in search of a new start I suppose'.
'And what did your parents say about you moving?
'I think they were glad to see me go, we all knew it was the right thing for me to do at the time' Harry smiled up at me. I could tell that he didn't usually confide in people about his past and he looked slightly uncomfortable about talking about more deep topics of conversation rather than sex, drink and sport.
Harry got off of the sofa and made his way through the corridor to the kitchen.
'Do you want a drink?' he yelled.
'I'm okay thanks' I called back
Harry returned with a bottle of beer in his hand, just as though he had read my mind a few moments ago. I couldn't help but slip out a small laugh.
'What?' He said, his smile slightly bemused and his dimples making an appearance on his face.
'Nothing' I laughed 'Come here' I becokened him over to where I was sitting.
He placed his bottle on the glass table in front of us and returned to his previous seat next to me. I shuffled towards him, cuddling into his chest.
'My parents would be glad that I'm dating a girl like you though' His chest shaking as he laughed
I laughed back at him, 'How come?'
'I don't know you just seem to be a good influence on me' He held me slightly tighter. I knew that this was my opportunity to ask him.
'Harry could you do something for me? I warily started.
'What is it?'
'Could you talk to Rhi for me, I don't want this to go on any longer than it should. It needs to be left in the past'. I felt his body slightly tighten beneath me. I raised my head, locking my eyes with his beautiful green ones as a sign of comfort, knewing it had worked as he began to soften his muscles.
'Okay, for you' he replied, nudging my head back towards his chest with his hand before planting a kiss to the top of it.
'Thankyou Harry' I replied. 'Oh and one more thing' I tested my luck.
'Oh what now?' He playfully responded
'When do I get to meet the rest of your band?'
