"Emeran?"
"I've been trapped in here for a month. You should not have come."
"W-why?"
"Shhh! Not here," he grabbed her hand and pulled her into what looked like a bedroom.
"Okay..." She said as she sat down on a mix of blankets and pillows, "Now tell me. Explain why I haven't seen you for a month, why I shouldn't have come here, and... Um, everything."
"I already told you, I'm trapped and everyone who falls into the hole stays in the hole," he said, "I need your help."
"What- me?" She said standing up and taking a step back, "I can't."
"Why not?" He said desperately, "I need you."
"Look, Emeran. I can't help you," she said as he took a step closer to her, "Now how to I get out?"
"You can't. Unless, well," he closed his eyes and rubbed his temple, "no."
"What is it, Emeran?"
"It can't happen."
"What is it."
"An act of true love," he said, "It's my punishment for not being 'good enough'"
"What do you mean?" She said.
"I got punished for stopping my brother's wedding, so my parents put me in this hole. They told me I had to get someone to fall in love with me and now, I have you. But it won't be true love."
It took her a moment to understand what he was saying.
She knew what she had to do...
She ran at him and kissed him, and he kissed her back. His lips were soft and it felt like days as they held each other.
"Emery," he said between kisses, "I really do love you."
"I love you, too."
She loved him more than anything. She wanted him.
The ground started to shake as they broke apart.
"Emeran! It's working!"
A staircase sprang out of the ground and up into the familiar forest. They were both going home.
