RANTS - Those "Horrible" Teenagers

This rant is really meaningful to me, due to how much my friends and I talk about this problem. Why is it, that all teenagers are considered "horrible"? I'm a teenager, and I must say that I am a delight (not to brag or anything). To adults who don't know me, they automatically assume I am a troublemaker, I smoke, I do drugs, or anything else that is negative. My question is, why? Why is it, that adults think like that? Yes, it is a very large sterotype, but what ever happened to, "Don't judge a book by its cover?"

My friends and I usually play on the elementary school play structures whenever we are bored (don't judge). That is when we all realised, that we will be judged if we play on them. People walking by will look at us and think, "Oh, it's a bunch of teenagers causing trouble on the playground." I know I have been saying this a lot, but why do we teenagers have such a negative connotation? I know that I didn't do anything wrong to you. None of my friends did anything wrong. But people still look at us like we are plotting to take over the world!

Hello Wattpad readers! This is my third rant, WOOT! And by now, I hope you know that my writing is... special. Sorry, but I'm not going to post every week. I'm just too busy  with band camp, and high school preperations, and life. You should ask my friends, I barely have a social life anymore (if you can even call it that). Also, all my writing will be at different lengths. It's sort of like a scale you can use. If a rant is really short, then I only had some thoughts on it. If a rant is long, then I spent a lot of time writing it. Anyways, if you have an opinion, leave a comment below! I'll try my best to reply to you! But fair warning, band camp consumes at least ten hours of each day for me (except for weekends).
