RANTS - Messed Up School Rules

The delivery system in my school is totally whack. One day, my older sister was getting her braces removed. I thought it would be a cute idea to send her a bag filled with candy that she couldn't eat before. I spent a lot of time making a card, picking the candies, and decorating the bag. I went to school before she did so I could go drop off the gift to the office. The lady who works in the front told me that she couldn't have anyone drop off the package (although the student helper was doing absolutely nothing). She then asked me to take my phone and text my sister. I was a little confused at the demand, since the staff members should not be encouraging the usage of phones in the school. I told her that I couldn't. She told me, "Then I guess she'll have to pick it up later. I can't do anything."

I  left the office disappointed. Couldn't the office send a note to her in class? Or is that TOO distracting? 'Cause my sister doesn't even know that there is a gift for her. How would she know to come to the office? Did the magical office fairy impregnate the thought of going to the office? NO. The magical office fairy does not exist. But you know what does exist? People. Notes. Delivery systems. What would happen if some child left their inhaler at home? What if they were in P.E. and they had an asthma attack? Would they have to walk all the way to the front office and pick it up? Because according to the front desk lady, the school does not have the decency to deliver important items.

Hello universe! I have a question for those of you who actually take the time to read these. Talking to you, Emily. Is there a school rule, general guideline, etc. that you feel is not right and/or corrupt? Leave a comment down below. And to those few people looking at this, do you want to build a snowman?
