10k looked at me worry in his green eyes.
"Your lying," 10k whispered.
"I'm fine," I mumbled. He went I front of me holding both my hands in his.
"I-" he was cut off as the truck came to a sudden stop.
"Whoa!" I exclaimed as 10k fell on top of me. His face inches from mine and his hands positioned above my shoulders.
"Oh get up you two we ran out of gas," Murphy growled stepping out of the truck.
"Now's not the time for this!" Doc exclaimed. He grabbed 10k by the collar and lifted him up off of me. We were both blushing like crazy.
"C'mon guys lets split up into groups to find some gas. 10k and Doc will be a group. Me, Murphy and Vasquez will be another group and lastly Addy and Y/N," Warren quickly gave out the orders as she and her group to off. Addy and I walked out into the forest in the opposite way Doc and 10k were going.
.:later in the forest:.
It was a long trek through the forest. Both Addy and me didn't say anything while we were walking. That was until we came to a river.
"Looks like we can't get across," I said staring into the green murky water.
"Ya," Addy agreed. We stared at the water in silence.
"Do you have a crush on 10k?" Addy asked me out of nowhere. My face turned beet red.
"Awww you do too," Addy said patting my back.
"Y-ya I do," I mumbled.
"Don't worry he likes you too," Addy Said reassuringly.
"Really?" I said excitedly.
"Aww Addy I was supposed to tell her that not you," a new voice spoke. I turned around and was face to face with 10k.
10k hugged me and I hugged him back.
"So...do ya maybe wanna be my girlfriend?" 10k asked whispering into my ear.
"Sure," I said I kissed his cheek and parted from the hug.
"Did y'all find some gas?" Doc asked hopefully.
"No," Addy said looking at the river again.
"Well we gotta go Warren and the others will be waiting for us.
I held onto 10k's hand as we made it back to the truck. Each of us stumbling once or twice.
"Funny, we didn't see any Zs," Doc said.
"Ya," I agreed quietly.
We kept them away, you and I
But next time...I let go of 10k's hand and sat on the side of the road facing the group.
"My feet hurt," I lied. In truth my mind was so fuzzy I couldn't even hear what anyone was saying all I could here was the voice.
We feast!
