Ponyboy: He pulls you in for a hug by the head and puts it against his chest, rocking you back and forth till you're breathing is back to normal.
Johnny: He takes your hands and tells you everything is going to be okay and that you should trust him. He repeats it till you say okay.
Sodapop: He takes your head and looks you right in the eye, saying there's nothing to worry about.
Two-Bit: He makes a joke, mimicking you and it makes you laugh, forgetting about what you were worried about.
Dally: He kisses you right on the spot, not stopping until you calm down.
Steve: He side hugs you and plays with your hair until you finally calm down.
Darry: He rubs your back and takes one of your hands and squeezes it to send a message of love.
