Omg guys it's Johnny Cade's Birthday!! Here are some pretty cool facts I found out about him. Enjoy!
1. Ralph Macchio (Johnny) was 21 in the movie
2. When Johnny left the note in the dust for Ponyboy and signed it J.C, it was a foreshadow and allusion to the Christ-like figure he would portray later
3. When Dally calls Darry after Johnny dies, Engraved in the phone booth is the word "Johnny", and below you can see the number 16, most likely for his age
4. Johnny's scar changes size in the first couple scenes
5. The pictures in the newspaper were taking when Johnny's hair was cut and Pony's was cut and bleached. This is led to be impossible because they were at the church the whole time and it couldn't have been taking after the fire, due to the fact that Johnny's face wasn't burned.
6. Johnny wrote with his left hand
7. Ralph Macchio (Johnny) also shows in The Karate Kid a year after The Outsiders
