Lily's POV:

I just want this day to be over. Already I've been bullied, beaten, and offended, and it's not even 6th period yet. That, and only that, is the reason I'm attempting to power through the school day. I need to wait for Matthias. But I don't know if I'll be able to.

It was only nearing the end of third period, history, so I still had basically half the day to survive through before I can see him. We sat there, scribbling down most likely useless notes that we wouldn't ever need again.

Then, they stupid guy next to me took his own pen, popped off the cap, and dumped it completely on my notes, splattering them in ink. The entire class had stopped and turned to us. My face grew bright red as I looked at him in dismay, in which all he did was smile like an idiot.

"Whoops," he snickered. "My mistake." He then placed his hand on my paper, getting the ink on his own hands, then slid his ink-covered hand onto my pale grey jacket, causing the class to burst into laughter yet again. The teacher didn't care, and continued listening to music while assuming we were writing.

My classmates laughter rang over and over again in my eyes, each second of laughter louder than the last. The blood rushed to my cheeks, causing my face to flush bright red.

Desperate, I pulled my planner out from my backpack and walked over to the teacher, requesting him to sign it off so I could get out of class. Without a care in the world where I was going, he scribbled his signature down and continued to listen to his stupid music.

Quickly, I snatched my backpack, shoved my binder in it, and rushed out of the classroom. Their laughter continued to replay in my mind, nearly causing small tears to spill out.

After what seemed like ages, I reached one of the bathrooms and locked myself in one of the stalls. Curling up into a little ball and digging my head into my knees, I began crying silently. My body refused to stop shaking, even after the sound of a loud bell rang throughout the school, signaling time for lunch/fourth period.

Pounding footsteps sounded clearly from outside the stall, showing thousands of kids rushing to their next class. Shakily, I pulled my phone from my pocket and glanced down at the bright screen. The lock screen was a little edit of Matthias I had created, which had different pictures of him with the caption, "Just press play and the pain goes away." Just the thought of him made me smile.

My finger slid across the screen as I went to my text messages to the only person I trusted, my best friend Hallie. She had lunch now, which meant it was okay to use her phone.

"Help me." I texted quickly, my breathing slowing down slightly as it began to send. Moments after sending, the response text bubble appeared across the screen, showing her new message.

"What's up?" she questioned, adding a thinking emoji next to her words.

"I don't think I'll be able to make it through the rest of the day." I replied, getting more nervous while typing those words. A response came in a few seconds.

"You have to or else you're not gonna meet Matthias!" she exclaimed, adding multiple exclamation points.

"Yeah, I realize that, but today's just been the absolute worst. That idiot in my history class, Blake I think his name is, just dumped his entire ink pen on my notes, which we had to take for a quiz we have on Tuesday." I complained, feeling tears begin to stream down my face.

"He's a jerk, I get it. But just remember: Matthias. You've got two classes and lunch to get through. You CAN do this." she assured, her words sounded sincere even though it was just a text. She then sent a picture of Matt from the Disney Song Challenge he did with Mark when they were doing the weird smolder thing. It was entertaining.

"Okay, that makes me feel a little bit better," I sent back, remembering the words from that particular video. "Thank you so much."

"No problem. And remember: You can tell Matthias everything he has done for you." After sending that next, the message that she had gone offline had appeared. Looking back at my watch, I saw there was a few minutes until lunch ended. Standing up, I snatched my phone, walked out of the minuscule room and went to the large and crowded area of lunch.

*Nearly 2 Hours Later*

Matthias' POV:

The kids from the second to last period were just packing up, ready to head to their next class. Surprisingly, this day hasn't been as upbeat as I nearly imagined. No one had seemed to have even the slightest interest in me or my videos, which I was fine with. It just would have been cool to see someone who did know who I was and who I made happy.

A bell rang throughout the classroom, signaling it was time for 6th period. Everyone scrambled up and rushed towards the door, one of them leaving a book sitting peacefully on the end of a desk. Awkwardly, I brought both of the videos I had been playing to the very start.

One by one, students walked into the classroom. Nearly every single one of them gave me something relatively similar to a death glare. Shuffling around where I was standing, I put my hands behind my back and looked at the kids beginning to set their materials and books and such under their desks.

That now familiar bell sound bounced around the room, making nearly everyone in the class shut up instantly. I slid my hands into my pockets, waiting for the teacher to do his announcements.

Then, the door burst open again and a girl came rushing in. Her face was bright red and looked flustered. Books were trailing behind her and her binder was hanging loosely from her shoulder. The moment she saw me, her face grew inhumanely redder.

"Lily," the teacher said in a low voice. "You're late. Again."

"I-I'm sorry," the girl choked. "I-I got pushed in the hallway and s-someone threw my binder across the entire hallway and i-it got kicked around."

"Ha, what a loser!" a guy in a varsity jacket chuckled, kicking his feet on the table. The teacher glared.

"Lily, I'm not going to count you late. David, get your legs off the table." he ordered, glancing at both of the students equally. The boy swung his legs off the table and the girl scrambled to her seat. Something seemed off about that girl. Not in a bad way, but she looked so scared or nervous when she walked in and saw me. Has she seen my videos? Shaking my head slightly, I picked my phone off the desk and looked back at the class, preparing for a final presentation.

Terrible ending, haven't updated because school sucks, but now I'm publishing this at school! (I'm done with all of my projects.) Nonetheless, thank you all for putting up with no updates and I will see you laterade!
